I woke up this morning to music playing loudly in the other room , I knew my brother was awake so I knew I was probably running late . I got up and quickly showered and put on my things before my boyfriend was here to pick me up.

He texted me to come outside and I left my house

I said to his driver before giving my man a kiss

M: hey ma , I got your order since you wanna sleep a extra hour
He said pointing to my breakfast while he was distracted with his homework

Y/n: thank you baby , gimme a sheet I'll help you

I said taking out my pencils , This is how almost every morning went with my boyfriend Matthew . I met him at school we both attended a private school in upstate New York and were good students. My parents don't have a lot of money so I'm on a scholarship while Matt's parents are filthy rich and even have a house in the Hamptons .

Matthew stood out to me He was popular in school yet he was so different from everyone there ,When we were paired up for a project I was shocked at how much we actually had in common . I was a little nervous at first when I introduced him to my brother cause my brother always talking about "you needa stay away from them slave owners " but now they like best friends

Once we arrived at the school, Jeff opened our door and let us out . Matthew takes my bag and walks with me inside . I pretend I don't see the white girls whispering about me as we walked by . They always wonder why we together but if knew Matthew they would know that were like the same person

M: I'm getting picked up early today, I gotta go do something but Jeff will drop you off to me when you get off

He said as we reached my locker , I opened it filling it with things I need

Y/n: where are you going, I thought I was sleeping over tonight?

M: you are , I got everything set up for you I just gotta go meet up with my friend in the Bronx

Y/n: The Bronx ?!? Since when do You have friends over there .

M: For a little while, you'll meet them after school babe

Y/n: okay but be safe over there Matt, it's dangerous

I said shutting my locker and walking to his

M: you know I'm dangerous too

He joked playing with the toy laser I keep on my bag for my cats . Which is something he did frequently. After we went to his locker we went to our classes together before he had to leave . I was sitting in the lunch room by myself when some of the girls from this morning

G: where's your lil boyfriend? Is he off buying you something else ?

I ignored the girls because I knew they were jealous of my relationship. They always thought they were better than me just because they grew up with money but he doesn't care about shit like that . Matthew treats me with respect and he buys me nice things because he enjoys doing so , I've never asked him for anything.

G: what does he see in a girl like you ? You have nothing, not even a personality your fucking boring

I scoff at her before leaving the cafeteria, Matthew would've roasted the fuck out of her but I'm not confrontational like that . I would probably just say she's right I do have nothing, but Matthew would say I have a family and most of these motherfuckers grew up with nannies and that I have him someone who loves me , makes me happy and protects me and they wished they had him too
