Lofe - Valentine's Day prank

I was bored as fuck, I had just got told I was being put on academic leave for the rest of my semester and I spent enough time in my dorm crying and feeling stupid so I walked around the campus until heading to the library

I don't even know why I came here , I just wanted to see other people beside my annoying ass roommate but I don't have any friends so I choose a crowded place to people watch

I sat in a secluded area and opened up my laptop playing some YouTube videos on it cause i had nothing better to do , I liked helping my cousin kanel edit his funny YouTube videos so I was just rewatching those

As I continued to mind my business I was tapped on the shoulder, I removed my Green AirPod Max's before turning to see who touched me

It was a man , he was skinny and wearing pajamas and he was holding a paper

Y/n: do you need some money or something?

I asked wondering what he was standing here for , he just shook his head before speaking up

"I don't have a valentine yet and just thought you were pretty so I got you this "

He said handing me a card and walking off before I could reply ..... ok?

Me , being the nosiest person I know immediately opened the card up and read it contents

" I have low standards, so you're perfect for me "

I bursted out into laughter, laughter that had everyone mugging me but I couldn't contain it. I laughed so hard I fell off the couch I was on with tears rolling down my face

"Shhhhh" the old ass Librarian said trying to hush me and i shooed her away wiping my tears from my eyes calming down finally

" sooo I'm guessing you liked the note ?"
He said coming back up to me

Y/n: I loved it , what's your name ?

"Ben"

Y/n: ok Ben your hilarious
I said noticing his cool "Caution wet moms"hoodies

B: so you wanna be my valentine?

Y/n: sure why not ? My standards are just as low as yours , just get me one of those

I said gesturing to his hoodie , he just looked down and smiled at me

B: bet , gimme your number

He said handing me his phone and I entered my number

Y/n: ok bye Ben

I said as he walked off once again , I never saw him again after that day

Time skip
It's been a couple of months and I've gone back home , I decided to just become a full time editor for Kanel's channel because he was able to grow it up to 2 million subscribers now , I do other freelance stuff but mostly his videos and clips

K: yo y/n , come with me to Walmart ?

Y/n : so we can get arrested? We already got trespassed

K: I'm shooting something today with another creator, he's gonna meet us there and we're just gonna buy some stuff

Y/n: ok let me just get the sound equipment and get you mic'd up

I said getting ready to go to the Walmart, I don't have a problem tagging along for videos as long as I don't get arrested and messing with kanel and his stupid friends makes that very likely

Once we were ready we made our way to Walmart and waited in the parking lot until his friend came

"Yo kanel you actually sexy in person "
I heard someone say making me turn around

"AYO" kanel and I said at the same time making the man laugh

B: ohh it's lower standards girl
He said once he recognized me

K: who ?

B: she was in my video, the Valentine's Day prank

K: nigga I do not watch your shit

Y/n: hey Ben

B: my name's not actually Ben it's lofe

Y/n: well nice to see you again lofe

He smiled at me before he and kanel walked inside the Walmart , they immediately started their shenanigans and we quickly told to leave before they could even buy anything ...typical

I walked to the car unlocking in so they can get in , lofe's camera man and friends took his car and just followed us

Lofe was in the back seat next to me while kanel's camera man filmed them from the passenger seat but he stopped for a break

L: you okay ?

Y/n: I'm offended you never reached out

L: oh I'm sorry I promise I have a good explanation

Y/n: I'm messing with you , but if you have an explanation
I let him continue to speak

L: it's just I didn't know how you would've reacted to being in my video, most people see it and want me to take it down I didn't want to go through all that trouble

Y/n: well I don't care , I figured you were pranking me anyways I don't want you to take it down

L: thanks y/n for being cool about everything, even the people who watched the video think so and asking to bring you back

Y/n: you wanna film a prank , with me ?

L: doesn't have to be a prank, we can just vlog our day together maybe go on a date

K: L Rizz

"Shut up " Lofe and I said as we both realized that he was streaming on twitch, the chat was spamming saying things like "L Rizz" & "say yes"

Y/n: we can talk about it later , still have my number

L: yeah i do , I'll call you.

He said as we pulled up to yet another Walmart I'm guessing we went to the next town over since we took so long

We got out and he brought me over to his car
Pulling out 3 hoodies ; the one he had the day I met him and one he's wearing rn and the last one has valentine cards on it

L: theses were limited addition only 50 went out

Y/n: thank you Lofe
I said as i put it on feeling chilly

K: y'all gon kiss ?

Y/n: getcho ass inside kanel

I slapped his neck and walked inside with them following behind
