Now that I'm in college,everything has been pretty normal. Surprisingly college is just like high school, there's still cliques, there's still drama and there's still haters
I was a fairly normal student until the day Matthew and Kay decided to pick me up from school one day , ever since then theres always a line of people waiting to speak to me , the girls still gossip about me but now they try to get close with me in hopes I'll introduce them to my brother and the guy still try to holler when they know i have a boyfriend .... Like now
"So I've haven't been seeing you at any of the freshman frat parties and I wanted to ask you if you're available " the guy sitting beside me was simply ignored while I write down the professors notes , when he finishes I turned to him to let him know
Y/n: first off those parties stink like literally no one wears deodorant there and I have a boyfriend so I won't be going anywhere with you
" oh that's right , you loyal to lil white boy right ? I bet you he's not giving his fan girls the same energy " He said slickly and i scoffed, the nerve of this guy . I ignored him and continued writing down notes until the class was over with , I would usually drive to school but Matt was taking me to his interview so he picked me up in his most flashy car blaring loud music
M: hey my lady He noticed me immediately and gave me a hug , we were getting the usual stares from people
Y/n: do you have to embarrass me ?
M: oh come on you know you love all this attention, everyone knowing your mine
He peck my lips before opening my door for me and getting in , we were driving to his interview and I was trying to do my makeup in the car
Y/n: can you slow down ? I feel like I'm on a high speed chase
I commented on his fast and furious like driving skills , I prefer when Jeff drives but ever since Matt got his license he's been doing it on his own
M: why you even putting all that stuff on ? You look the same without it
Y/n: I don't put much on, it just makes me feel more comfortable
M: everyone always compliments your natural beauty though
Y/n: well it's more like you compliment and they don't disagree
M: what !? That's bs you are the most beautiful amazing person in the world everyone should know that by now
He kissed my hand before pulling into the parking lot ,he let me finish my makeup before he got out to open my door for me
Y/n: thank you boo , are you nervous at all ?
M: not at all , all they do is ask questions and I'm good at test remember
I scoffed at him as we got inside , I was introduced to the host kory
M: this is y/n , she's my girlfriend
K: oh I didn't know you had a girlfriend, you guys look a little young
M: yeah well I met her at school
K: ok that's cool, so we can do the interview first and then go into the freestyle
He said walking us to the podcast room
K: people usually have someone sit beside them to make it less awkward while filming
I nodded and sat next to Matt , he made sure I had the headset on correctly before putting his on . Kory started off by introducing Matt and asking him questions about his life
K: where did you grow up?
M: I grew up in Manhattan, I lived in New York all my life
K: and you recently graduated from a private high school , how did you manage doing drill music and going to school every day ?
M: well I've always been interested in doing music but i put out my first song at the end of my junior year , I already had friends and the good grades came easy to me so I just kept putting things out and it became viral , some of the parents had a problem with my music tho. They made it a whole big thing and tried to get me kicked out but my girl and all my friends had my back
He said looking at me , I didn't say anything I just nodded agreeing , kory turned to me and asked me a question
K: what did you think about your boyfriend's music ?
I hesitated to answer but Matt put the mic infront of me
Y/n: I was confused, I didn't know he had interest in music let alone going to the studio and recording rap songs cause he kept it from me . But once he told me I supported him
K: and your both in college?
M: no I've been holding off on starting college to work on my music, i have been working on a project
K: so how is it from seeing each other everyday at school , to having to schedule time to be with your girlfriend
M: I'm always with my girlfriend, I'm not afraid to admit that I'm clingy . If she has a long lecture I'd go to her campus to work on beats
He asked more questions about music before he started asking more about Matthew and I's relationship
K: so you guys met in high school , how did you meet ?
M: she was the smartest girl in our school, I grew up going to private school so I knew everyone except for her and then I found out she was a transfer student
Y/n: yeah I got a scholarship to attend his school and when I met him I can tell he was different from what I expected , he was popular yet kind to everyone and even when he slacked off he always had good grades he really surprised me
M: i fell in love with her so fast , she's the realest person I've met
K: well now that your popping off on social media, how would you introduce her to your fans ? You know sometimes people don't want their favorite rapper to be in a relationship especially young fans like yours
Y/n : people like too say we're too young to be in a serious relationship or he's to immature to not entertain other women's advances towards him well we've already been dating for almost 4 years and I don't care what anyone thinks about our relationship. He's loyal to me so I don't worry about the groupies .
M: we both are naturally very private with personal information but we don't hide our relationship, we like to keep people guessing
Y/n: yeah like we might break up or get married tomorrow and no one would ever know
I said making him laugh, and he agreed with me immediately. We joked about a few more things before we ended the interview and he had to do his freestyle
K: wow that's was amazing
Kory complimented as he finished rapping after he finished with everything we decided to grab something to eat
Y/n: you did great boo , I loved your rap
M: thank you let's go home
