Park jongseong(jay)- EN-CAFE

I jumped up almost immediately after the professor dismissed the class thankfully it was my last one of the day because I was exhausted .Since it was Friday I was looking forward to going home and getting some of my assignments done. I was making my way to the bus stop when I got a call from my dance instructor .

Instructor

I: hey y/n the group is meeting later tonight for practice?

Y/n: what!? I thought we've practiced the whole dance last night

I: yeah well I felt like it needed changes and the tournament is on Sunday

Y/n: really? I have assignments to finish before tonight

I:  well do them now, you need to be early

Y/n: ok ok I'll see you tonight

I said hanging up , I needed to finish my assignments and fast , now going home wasn't an option because my noisy roommate will just distract me. I look around for a solution and spot a cafe at the end of the street , I rushed over to it.

I've never seen this place before, it's Cosy and quiet which was perfect. I found a nice space and put my things down . I felt eyes on me since I walked in so I looked up to see all the workers looking at me , I decided to go and get a coffee before starting my work so I got one of workers attention

?: hey I'm Sunoo welcome to our pop up cafe, en-cafe

Y/n: thanks , I'm not really good at reading Korean can you translate it for me

I asked Sunoo in broken Korean , he seemed to not understand, he just smiled a cute smile and said one moment before going to get his other co-worker

S: this is jay he can translate this for you

Y/n: ok thank you Sunoo

Jay smiled and began explaining the menu . I tried to concentrate on his words but I could feel the glare of the rest of the cafe workers on us

Y/n: do you guys have an iced latte?

He nodded so I ordered that and a pastry and he goes to get it . I opened my laptop and began to do my assignments, shortly after a group of young girls came in to the cafe chatting and giggling. I noticed some of girl's sneaking pictures of the workers and thought that was a little weird. I didn't seem to notice when I walked into the cafe that all of the workers are mysteriously attractive almost idol like appearance

J:Hey here's your drink and your food

Jay said as he reached my table putting the thing's down . I thanked him and he smiled getting me a napkin and straw

Y/n: why are those girls over there were taking your picture ?

I asked looking past him at the girls still taking photos as he looks over at them

Jay: they are probably fans of us

He said but I was just confused, I listen to K-pop but I'm really into dance so I don't really know idols or actors

Y/n: I'm sorry ,I never seen you guys before

Jay: that's okay , you know I'm jay and you know Sunoo but not the rest of the guys

Y/n: what is your group called? I've probably danced to one of your songs, I dance competitively

Jay: we're enhypen , how long have you danced ?

Y/n: I've been dancing for 6 years and almost one year in Korea

Jay looked at me Impressed but was called back over to help the other people with more customers so he excused himself leaving me to focus on my assignments.

Once the cafe calmed down again I noticed jay bringing his friends to talk to me

J:guy's this is y/n and she's a dancer

They all say hello to me and introduce themselves , their names were heeseung, jake, sunghoon,jungwon and Niki . Niki said he recognized me from clips from of my dance group. They talked to me about their music and fun stuff they do around Seoul plus heeseung and jay helped me with my assignments

N: hey jungwon isn't the company looking for backup dancer, i think y/n and some of her members should try out

Jw: yeah I think you should too , I can give you the information

He said get my phone to put the information in it while also sneaking me into their groupchat . While customers came in , they took turns on who would help and who would talk tome so I chatted with each member individually until I had to go to practice . I asked jay for my bill and he left and came back with it I hugged him and said goodbye to all rest of the guys

Y/n: it's was really a pleasure meeting you jay , I'll catch you around

J: yeah maybe sooner than you think

He said as I walked out , I went to put the receipt away when I was extra writing on it , i unraveled it to see a meeting from jay

" Can I take you tonight ? Let me know -jay"

I smirked at his sneaky actions , I thought jay was my type and I guess I'm his too but for obvious reasons I'm hesitant . While walking into the dance studio i decided there was no harm in going out one time so I text him what time I'll be available and shut my phone off

I started to stretch with some other members before the Instructor called the meeting

I:we have our last competition this weekend after that we'll have less practice until next season.

Y/n: I actually wanted to ask if you guys want to try out to be background dancers for Hybe with me ?

I: Hybe only has invitation only try outs , we can't go

Y/n: I actually can get us invites for anyone that's interested , I met some people who work at the company today that can hook us up

I: ok , anyone who wants to audition will meet to talk about the details later , for now let's get in formation
