Prince nikolai- Royal wedding prt 2

After my father's meeting with the Denmark prince's he invited me into his royal chambers , I was surprised at the fact that Nikolai was still here after I thought I'd seen his car pull off .

Y/n: Hello father

I made my presence known while walking up to the chair next to the prince

F: Prince Nikolai was nice enough to invite you to travel with him

I furrowed my brows, my father never lets me go anywhere but he's letting me travel with a young man ... okay?

Y/n: where will we be going?

N: anywhere you want, you mentioned you don't get out much so I thought it would be a kind gesture

F: I'm setting up your security now , you'll be able to leave by the end of the week . Nikolai will stay in the guest quarters,can you show him there ?

Y/n: yes father
I motioned for the prince to follow me , once we were far enough I spoke up

Y/n: we're getting married aren't we?

I asked him and his face told me the answer, I knew my father would do this one day but it was too soon in my opinion

N: not if you don't want to , I have rules I don't want you to feel uncomfortable

Y/n: what rules?

N:well only one rule, I didn't want it to be rushed so we have time to decide

Y/n: does time really make a difference?

N: I want you to get to know me and figure out if im a good fit to be your husband, who you marry is a big decision for you and I want you to be sure .

Y/n: Are you sure you not just after the throne , im not stupid I've seen frozen 100 times

N: the throne was never on my mind , I came looking for a wife not a crown . I need to be married before 30

Y/n: so why not just marry any random girl from your country or at your university ?

I said genuinely confused on why he would travel all this way if he could simply just marry someone there

N: I wanted someone unique and interesting.Someone i would love for the rest of my life and someone who would show me all the different ways to love

Y/n: and you think that's me ?

N: I believe so , I've met with other women and none of them caught my attention like you have

I cringed at his response, I've never had a man talk to me this way before and I couldn't stop blushing . I quickly rushed to the door to the guest room and opened it up . His bags were already up here  so I didn't have to worry about getting someone to get them

N: I got you something, a gift

And handed me a large basket filled with snacks from his country . He asked me to sit and explain to me what was his favorites and what was in them before asking me to try it

Y/n: I like it, it's like peanut butter but sweeter . What's it called again ?

N: that's biscoff cookie butter , you should try it with some ice cream it's to die for

I laughed at his choice of words before taking another snack

Y/n: so where are you going to take me ?

N: idk , I was thinking we write a list the places you want to see the most

Y/n: ok what about we go to India first , I've been reading about it more recently. It's supposed to be really beautiful
