Kay flock-Doing better pt.2

After the festival there was a couple of after parties so I went to one with my parents. It was the city girls party
And my mother was cool with them so I was in vip doing my thing . After seeing Kevin my mind was everywhere. He's so different then he was before, everyone knows him and they all have things to say not all good things too . Since I talked to him I found out that he and Brandon stopped being cool over some street stuff plus that he got arrested last month that's all the reason to stay away from him .

M: I see that boy again , you be careful karma

My mother pointed out Kay and his crew walking through the door , he scanned the venue eyes stopping when they see mine staring back. I quickly looked away and excused myself to the bathroom

In the bathroom there was a line of girls waiting to go , on the line was Rico and Hailie  they greeted me as I walked in

H: I haven't seen you in so long karma
She hugged me and so did Rico

R: you look so grown, I remember when you was like 12

K: yeah it's been so long, how's cam?

We chatted before the stalls finally opened, after washing our hands and taking pictures we left the bathroom. Kay was at the door waiting for me

Kay: you take fucking forever
He said as I noticed him

K: I didn't know I was being waited on

Kay: well come on

K: okay
I answered before saying bye to the girls , Kay walked me outside, we got in a blue rolls Royce with tinted windows.

K:what you bring me all the way out here for?
I asked him , he ain't say nothing just took a blunt from the cup holder and lit it

K: I'm not supposed to be round you

Kay: since when I gave a fuck

K:what you want from me ? Be for real Kevin ?

I said getting impatient with him , after everything I did to forget him here he was back in my life

Kay: I want you to forgive me , I miss you and ion want you to think bad bout me

K: what do you expect, why did you even do it ?

Kay : I fucked up, i thought that if I let you get away I'd never see you again. After Jay died and I was acting out you set me straight ,you used to braid my hair , you walked me to my classes to make sure I didn't skip em and you opened yo house to me when you ain't even had it like that . You was my everything, I lived for you I didn't think I could live without you.
So I went there that night to show you

He said making me come to a realization of what truly happened that night , I ain't ever think of it like that cause that's not the type of person I knew him to be , but I guess I was wrong

Kay : when it happened, I could admit I was upset but the you started panicking so then I panicked and then you wouldn't stop yelling and crying , I'm sorry karma I regretted it as soon as you left . I didn't mean to scare you or push you away. You are the best thing that's ever happened to me , even after all those years Im still in love with you .

He said looking at me slowly exhaling the smoke from his blunt before passing it to me

K:I don't know Kay , I'm able to let that old shit go for sure but we both changed so much and I don't feel safe around you
I explained to him truthfully
Kay: what ?!  That's crazy , you know I'd up it on a nigga anyday  for you
Niggas not even safe looking at my girl

K: that's the problem, i can't be going around with you , you got niggas on ya ass and I ain't with that , my momma don't play that shit either I got a little sister to protect
I said passing the blunt back to him
