𝟮𝟭 you will not be missed

"THREE MINUTES REMAINING." Their phones told the survivors.

   "Let's hurry!" Tomoko exclaimed. Throwing her gun to the side, she rushed toward Momoka's body. She grabbed her under her arms and began to drag her toward the fire of judgement, soon being helped by the others.

   They tossed her into the flames, their phones soon informing them that the game had been cleared.

   Desperate to survive, the players raced back inside the building and away from the fire. Smoke danced in the air, threatening to suffocate them all. The flames had reached most exits, directing them to the one farthest away. Pillars holding up the floors above them began to collapse, sending shock waves through the Earth as they hit the floor.

   Tomoko's lungs burned. Pulling the material of her dress closer to her face, Tomoko attempted to breathe the air that was the least contaminated with the fumes.

   Heart pounding with each step, Tomoko tried to focus on the exit – on her hope – instead of the fire that crawled toward her. Her legs ached yet she forced herself to continue onwards. I need to survive! She screamed in her mind. Chishiya, Kuina, you must have survived, too!

   Suddenly, a hand gripped her ankle and pulled her down to the floor.

   She smacked her chin on the floor, causing her teeth to rattle as she bit down on her tongue. Blood flooded her mouth and she groaned.

   A hand snatched ahold of her hair, pulling upward before throwing her head down until her face was a bloody mess. Then, they rolled her over and began to hit any part on her head that they could. Blood leaked from her nose, ear, mouth — but she managed to catch sight of her attacker.

   Niragi.

   Though he didn't say anything, Tomoko could see all of his sick, twisted thoughts displayed in his wicked grin.

   She managed to block his next hit with her arm before using the other to punch him. Tomoko tried to push him off of her but failed due to her lack of strength.

   She managed to roll out of the way of another hit. Snatching her pistol out of her pocket, she aimed it at Niragi and wasted no time in firing all of her bullets into his chest. He stumbled backward, the impact too much for his weakened state.

   Stumbling onto her unstable feet, Tomoko pulled out her switchblade and pointed it at him as she screamed, "You are a piece of shit. You are worth nothing. Now, you're going to let me leave or I will fucking destroy you! I will turn you into the ashes that sit at our feet!"

   Niragi didn't respond. Instead, he rushed her and shoved her to the ground. He used one hand to keep her head stuck to the filthy ground as he attempted to steal her weapon with the other.

   Grunting, Tomoko shoved him back with her feet before slicing a long cut down his face. He moaned in pain as he stepped backward. Tomoko managed to get onto her feet again and ran forward. Barely dodging the punches thrown her way, Tomoko managed to cut his exposed arms before digging her switchblade into his shoulder.

   Yelling in pain, he grabbed her wrist and shoved her away in attempt to save himself. Instead, Tomoko carved a vast wound into his stomach.

   Shoving her to the floor, Niragi tried to get on top of her to punch her but she rolled out of the way. As he fell to the floor, not expecting her to dodge, she reached over and stabbed his knee. He shrieked, instantly holding onto the wound to stop the bleeding.

   Tomoko's state was weakening by the second and she knew she had to finish this, now.

   "You'll be remembered as a nobody who did nothing, and you will not be missed, Niragi Suguru." Tomoko told him as she crawled over.

   She held her knife above her head before shoving it into his throat.

   Coughing up blood instantly, Niragi spat the crimson fluid onto Tomoko's face. Still, she continued to force the blade through his throat until his screams turned silent, leaving his corpse with a permanent wide eyed stare and agape mouth.

   Tomoko could feel the energy draining from her as she stood on unsteady feet. She attempted to move forward but soon realised there was no way forward. A piece of the building had collapsed in front of her, blocking her exit.

   The Beach was crumbling around her. She had to leave fast or she would be stuck here forever.

   Coughing, the woman hacked up blood and spit onto the floor. Her lungs were struggling to keep up with the exertion she had been through and the smoke she was inhaling.

   Ripping off a piece of her dress, Tomoko held it over her mouth as she continued. She managed to slip through a crack between a pillar and a fallen piece of balcony. As she stumbled onward, a sudden piece of debris fell to the ground, sending a tremor through it.

   It caused Tomoko to fall forward, landing on the floor with a groan of pain. Suddenly, a fiery pain shot through her ankle. Looking downwards, she realised the debris had split into pieces upon impact and one had landed on her ankle.

   Panting with the effort, Tomoko managed to sit up and throw it to the side. She forced herself onto her feet, limping as she fought against death.

   "I can do this." She muttered through gritted teeth, "Even if I can't, I have to."

   Rumbling roared overhead. Tomoko closed her eyes, praying that she could make it out of this alive. She moved at a slow pace but she was moving. She was going to live, hopefully.

   It seemed the sky was collapsing above her as rubble rained down on her. As it hit the floor, it sent her falling forward again.

   Intense, all-consuming pain pierced her skin. Her body was surely going to burst with torture. Agonised, she was screaming more loudly than she'd ever screamed in her life. Tears stormed down her cheeks, thick and fast, as she sobbed. The remains of the pillars holding up the building had fallen, fallen directly onto her left arm.

It seemed the universe wanted to kill her. But she would kill the universe to get her happy ending.

   So, she attempted to shove the wreckage off of her. It was no use. It wouldn't budge. She was stuck, pinned, here.

   And she was going to die.

i told y'all the s1 finale would be devastating LMFAOOO. DW Y'ALL IT GETS EVEN SADDER NEXT CHAPTER 😈 but on the plus side tomoko destroyed niragi like the badass she is <333
