Chapter 64 - Everything

It's been almost six months since the events that happened at the burial mounds. Lan Ying was getting a bit frustrated as Lan Wangji wasn't listening to him. Lan Ying said he was okay but Lan Wangji still wasn't sure if Lan Ying meant it. Lan Ying wanted so badly, to be loved and touched by his husband. He didn't know how he could convince him he was okay. He had long let it go and because he has such amazing support, he felt okay to move forward.

Lan Ying was so furious one day, he was having a hard time keeping his fire under control. He stayed outside at the training grounds when his entire body engulfed into flames. He was angry, sad, frustrated, and he felt like Lan Wangji didn't want him anymore.

"A'Ying," Lan Xichen called out, "what's wrong?"

Lan Ying looked at Xichen through the flames and the tears, "I'm so angry, and sad, and I feel like Lan Zhan doesn't love me anymore!" He cried.

"What? He loves you more than anything, why would you say such things?" Xichen asked.

"Because he hasn't touched me since what happened at the mounds...I told him I was sorry and that I didn't want it. I told him I was okay but he won't touch me. I'm in pain, Gege!" Lan Ying said, "he must hate me because Guiwang put his hands on me. He must think I'm disgusting! I want my Lan Zhan back!"

Lan Xichen didn't know that there was anything wrong with Lan Ying and Lan Wangji's relationship. Lan Wangji was a very cautious and caring person. He loves Lan Ying very much. He just doesn't want to rush things that Lan Ying seems to think he is ready for.

"Xiongzhang?!" Wangji yelled looking at him then to Lan Ying, "What happened?"

"You tell me," Xichen said, "he just told me that he feels you do not love him anymore."

"That is not true," Wangji said, "I love him more than anything."

"Then talk to him! And listen carefully to what he says," Xichen said and left them to talk.

Wangji was confused about what was happening, "A'Ying what is going on? What do you think I do not love you?"

"Because you are disgusted by me," Lan Ying answered, "you won't touch me. You won't listen to me. I feel like I have lost you, Lan Zhan. What can I do to convince you that I want you? I did not want that man to touch me!"

"A'Ying it's not that I don't want to touch you, I just don't want to get into having sex and then you having post trauma," Wangji said, "I love you so much, and I want you to know that."

Lan Ying's flames extinguished as he fell to his knees, "I'm sorry!"

Lan Wangji sighed and picked up Lan Ying. He then carried him back to the cold spring to help cool him down, "I never meant to make it seem like I lost interest in you, A'Ying," Wangji said as the two sat in the spring, "but if you say you are okay, then you and I can have fun later tonight, alright?"

"No," Lan Ying said pouting, "You have to earn me back. I'm mad at you."

Lan Wangji sighed, "very well," he said moving some of Lan Ying's hair so he had better access to his neck. His lips pressed to Lan Ying's skin, and he gently started kissing, lightly nipping, sucking and licking at his neck. Lan Ying trembled under Wangji's lips, feeling his breath whisper across his skin. Lan Ying was trying very hard to ignore him as he was upset with him. He wanted Wangji to work for his affection again.

It was then, Wangji pushed one of his buttons. Lan Wangji's fingers gently and lightly trailed down Lan Ying's spine. There was a spot that Wangji grazed his fingers that caused Lan Ying to take out his wings against his own will. Lan Wangji smirked against Lan Ying's neck as he tried to persuade him about forgiveness by petting and fondling his wings. Lan Ying was getting weak but he didn't let it show. It was when Wangji carried him back to the Jingshi, when things started to get more interesting.
