Chapter 11 - Wei Wuxian?

"Fuqin!" Yīnuò greeted immediately.

"Yīnuò, what brings you here so urgently?" Tian Jun asked.

Wei Changze and his wife Cangse Sanren were with him. Yīnuò hesitated for a moment but they needed to know, "Wei Wuxian lost control!"

"What?" Tian Jun asked, "what happened?"

"He used a portal talisman to escape Cloud Recesses and is full of rage. Annchi suspects that the abuse from Madam Yu Ziyuan has finally taken its toll. Annchi went to search for him, but Wei Wuxian threatened to burn Cloud Recesses and Lotus Pier," Yīnuò explained.

"What caused his final outburst?" Wei Changze asked.

"Lan Qiren quizzed him in front of the entire class," Yīnuò answered, "I don't know the entire context of it."

"It seems, we can't sit back anymore," Tian Jun stated, "Changze and Cangse, one of go to Cloud Recesses and explain to them what is happening. The other, I want at Lotus Pier."

"Alright," Wei Changze agreed.

"I will hold a council meeting on how we can handle Wei Wuxian and get him back in control. Yīnuò, I want you to continue to help Annchi find him," Tian Jun told her.

"I will," Yīnuò bowed.

"Be careful," Tian Jun them the three.

Yīnuò nodded and teleported to Annchi, "Annchi, Tian Jun is sending Wei Wuxian's parents to both Lotus Pier and Cloud Recesses to explain the situation," Yīnuò told her.

"Alright...I think I found him by the way," Annchi said.

"Where is he?"

"He's inside here," Annchi pointed into the Burial Mounds, "you and I will have to cleanse the area."

"Let's do it," Yīnuò nodded.

Meanwhile, Cangse made her way into Cloud Recesses and to the main hall where she found several elders, Lan Qiren, Lan Wangji, and Lan Xichen holding a meeting, "greetings," Cangse bowed entering the hall, "my name is Cangse Sanren, and I am Wei Wuxian's biological mother."

"His mother?" Lan Wangji asked.

Cangse nodded, "I'm an ancestral Goddess from the Celestial Realm. His father's name is Wei Changze, he is the son of Tian Jun, the Ancient God, creator and king of the Celestial Realm."

"Wei Wuxian is a god?" Lan Wangji asked.

"Sort of," She answered, "would you mind if I sit? I can explain everything that I can."

Lan Xichen prepared a seat for her and they all listened to what she had to say.

"My son was born a little over fifty-thousand years ago. When he was born, he was gifted, very gifted. He is the only one in existence too...He is a White Phoenix. When he reached fifty-thousand years old, he had to go through a stage of nirvana. His body turned to ash and was reborn again. It is his trial, I guess you can say. After he was reborn, a group of devils started to come to light. They wanted to destroy him right away, as he was to be the only one who could really stop them.

"So my husband and I took him to Lotus Pier. We knew Jiang Fengmian and we suspected that he would watch over him for us. Once he reaches eighteen, he will go back to his former god self and become the Phoenix he once was. He is the youngest god in existence to become a supreme god. He went through many trials and tribulations just so he could ascend to supremacy. He wanted to be as strong as he could to protect the realms he was born to protect. He is what everyone would say, son of the realms. He is their fire, their light, and their protector.

"His abilities now, I heard have started to finally come out. His father and I didn't know Yu Ziyuan would torture the boy so much. Because of this, it caused him to gain so much pain and resentment. He was never treated fairly from what I've noticed. Because of this, he is choosing not to control his powers. He wants to rid of those who wronged him," Cangse explained everything calmly enough so everyone could understand.

Lan Wangji lowered his head. He wondered if he was one of them. They did not get along, no matter how hard Lan Wangji tried, he couldn't even get through to him.

"Wangji, are you okay?" Lan Xichen asked his brother after he noticed Lan Wangji looking a bit uneasy.

"I'm just worried," Lan Wangji admitted.

"Madam Sanren, I have to ask, why is it that my little brother has no reaction to Wei Wuxian?" Lan Xichen asked.

"I am sure even down here in the cultivation realm, there is such a thing called a soulmate. It's a bit different in the Celestial Realm though. The two souls that are fated together have such a strong connection that they cannot hurt each other using spiritual energy and cultivation. The fate between Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian is still there. When Wei Wuxian gains his supremacy back and is a god again, Lan Wangji will ascend to a god to match his level of cultivation. So he would also be a supreme god at eighteen. Even if the two have not made too much progress at that time the change will still happen. So how the two will get along, time can only tell," Cangse answered.

"How does the ascension happen?" Lan Wangji asked.

"I promise it sounds painful but you will survive," Cangse began, "during an ascension, you are to be struck by holy lightning five times. Wei Wuxian had to go through that several times as there are many different levels. When he ascended to a high god it was three, and when he ascended to supreme god, it was five."

"Holy lightning?" Lan Wangji asked, "it does sound painful."

"Though Wei Wuxian won't have to take the light again, knowing him, he will probably try to take the volts for you. You'd still ascend of course," Cangse told him.

"Why lightning?" Lan Wangji asked.

"It adds a new form of energy to your cultivation. For cultivators, you have golden cores. For gods and goddesses, it's called a spiritual vein. That vein becomes the most fragile and most precious thing in a person's body. If it is cut, there is no repairing it and you will die. If it is damaged, it takes several months to sometimes, several years to heal," Cangse answered.

"What happens to the golden core when a cultivator ascends?" Lan Xichen asked.

"Well, for a cultivator, the normal way would be allowing the gold core to grow stronger until it turns silver which makes them immortal. They can then go through more training to ascend to a god or goddess. After immortality, whether male or female the first ascension is an Angel, the second is a god or goddess, then high god or goddess, supreme god, ancestral god, and finally the last one is an ancients god. Only one god has achieved ancient god which is my father-in-Law, Tian Jun. Before you ask, if a person is born in the celestial Realm, they are born either an Angel, God, or Goddess. A lot of times, Angels turn out to be warriors, Valkyries," Cangse replied.

"So going back to Wei Wuxian, there were several occasions to tell him who and what he really is. Why keep it from him?" Lan Qiren asked.

"First, he may not believe it," Cangse answered, "sometimes it's hard to explain what a person is to them directly. Second, we didn't want him to put more pressure on himself to try to remember things or push himself to learn his abilities faster. And Third, to keep him safe. Devil's magic has made its return lately and only when Wei Wuxian is back to his god self, he is defenseless against them. Being here in the cultivation realm would allow him to learn some of the world as well. Not just what's in the celestial realm, but beyond that."

"So you kept it from him because you thought it might be for the better?" Lan Qiren questioned, "do you know where he is now?"

"No, but there are ways to find out, and Annchi and Yīnuò are already searching for him. I trust those two to get to Wei Wuxian and hopefully, get him to calm down and learn to control a little bit," Cangse explained.

"Alright, and you said you have ways to find him. What will be done then?" Lan Wangji asked.

"Hopefully he calmed down enough for us to talk," Cangse answered.
