The next morning Lena found herself curled up in her bed, the soft white sheets gently draped over her. Her tired eyes stayed closed as she rolled over, expecting to feel Sebastian beside her but to her surprise he wasn't there. Where was he? Slowly and tiredly she gets up to make her way downstairs, when she reached the bottom of the staircase she notices Sebastian leaning against the cupboards in the kitchen with his arms crossed over his chest looking slightly disgruntled.

"Hey, what's-" She began before noticing the two bags by his feet, she paused as she recognized them. They were from Professor Weasley, with everything going on Lena had completely forgotten about her coming to drop off her monthly supplies.

"Something tells me you haven't been completely honest with me." He hissed, Lena let's out a long sigh.

"Sebastian, you weren't supposed to know any of this. No one was." She says anxiously, taking a few steps towards him.

"Well it appears that I don't know..." He says giving her a dark glare. "I suggest you start with the truth, Professor Weasley seemed quite thrown off when I answered the door."

"Okay, okay." She starts. "I don't necessarily have a family, I live alone." She admits, Sebastian gave her a puzzled look.

"Was it Rookwood?" He growls.

"What? No."

"Ranrok?"

Lena shakes her head. "No Sebastian, my parents aren't dead." She realized she didn't have much of a choice but to explain her situation to him now. "I was born into a muggle family, they quickly found out that I wasn't exactly like them." She leans against the back of the couch, across from Sebastian as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"They hated magic, and they hated me because I had the ability to wield it." Her eyes flicker down to the wooden floors. "I was punished for anything that involved magic. I tried to find ways around it of course, I was a curious child and I wanted to learn more but they always found out..."

"That's ridiculous." He scoffs. "You are one of the most powerful and talented wizards I've ever met and they wanted to keep that from you?"

Lena nodded. "One evening I came home from school and to my surprise my house was locked up. My parents had moved, they didn't even give me a chance to grab my things. I ended up living in a foster for about six months before I came to Hogwarts." She sighs, pressing her palms against the back of the couch as she kicks her heel against the wood floor. "It wasn't the first time though, as a kid they locked me out a lot and I needed to find places to stay.. I guess that time they just wanted to make it permanent."

Sebastian's face softened as he listened intently.

"Eventually Professor Fig came to where I was living at the time after I was abandoned and told me about Hogwarts, that's why I joined as a fifth year. I had the knowledge but not the proper schooling and I guess he had known that somehow."

He nods slowly as he made his way to her side and leans back against the couch. "I'm sorry about your parents, Lena. That doesn't sound easy." He sympathizes as he laced his fingers together and rested them on his lap as he continued to listen.

"After I killed Ranrok the professors that had helped me found out that I didn't have a home. This used to be Professor Sharps cottage that he used to work on his alchemy. He offered for me to use it, so I would be safe and close to Hogwarts and Hogsmeade if I needed anything." She explains.
