The night was cold and dark as the snow swirled around the courtyard, the only light there was flickered from the torches that were neatly placed on the stone pillars around them. Lena glanced around to see her friends scattered about, talking with some of the professors as she walked out from the bridge.

She felt Sebastian's hand graze her back as he trailed close behind her. It didn't take her long to feel the weight of the situation cling onto her shoulders, it was apparent that there was more to this than she had originally thought and even after everything that had happened that evening she still didn't have any answers.

"Lena." Calls Professor Sharp as Professor Weasley and himself made their way over to the two with worried looks on their faces.

"Are you two alright?'' Weasley asks, placing a gentle hand on Lena's shoulder.

"Fine professor, thank you.'' Lena says, giving her a reassuring smile.

"We are glad to hear it. Mr. Sallow may we have a moment alone with your friend here please?'' Sharp asks, glancing over to him.

"No, he can stay.'' Lena says.

The two professors look to one another before giving a slight nod.

''Very well, what exactly happened here tonight then? Do you suppose this has something to do with what we've talked about?"

"The curse? Yes, it does. He is the one who has the book. He said he needed my help but I'm not exactly sure what he meant.''

"Your help? Did he say anything else?" Weasley asks curiously as she crossed her arms.

"Not really, he did say he wanted me alive though... all I know is that it has to do with that book, the book that may be able to cure me...''

"Did you get a name?" Sharp asks, giving her a dark look.

"His name is Ambrose.''

The two professors were silent for a moment as they looked to one another. Something immediately shifted in their demeanours and Lena could see there was something they weren't telling her.

"What is it?'' She asks, giving them a suspicious look.

"Is there anything else either of you know?'' Weasley asks, Lena raised a brow as she looked to Sebastian before shaking her head.

"No. Nothing yet.''

"Well for tonight you should all get to your common rooms, we will speak more tomorrow about our next steps.'' Weasley said, looking uneasy.

"What about Professor Black?'' She asks, looking to Sharp as to remind him of his promise.

"Nothing to worry about for now." Sharp says as he glanced around, looking slightly uncomfortable.

She watched him, trying to read his body language. She's never seen him so restless, stressed and uncomfortable. She knew the two quite well and could tell something was wrong, but she wasn't about to bring it up in front of Sebastian just in case. She only hoped they would tell her soon enough.

"He is away at the ministry, I will come up with something to cover you for now.'' She assured.

"Hold on, what about keeping her safe? They got through the protective barrier once, what if they are able to again?'' Sebastian asks, his concerned tone had a tinge of annoyance in it.

"We will have to take our precautions. Don't worry Mr. Sallow, we will make sure she is safe.'' Sharp assures, snapping back into the conversation.

"Fair enough, thank you.'' Sebastian says as the professors give them a nod before making their way to speak with Garreth and Natty.
