Sebastian slipped into his empty dorm and closed the door behind him quickly as he reached into the inner pocket of his cloak. He then pulled out the parchment he pickpocketed from Lena, he hated that he did that to her but he saw it time and time again on her in the last week and he needed to know what it was. She was oddly secretive of it, always slipping it into her cloak whenever anyone came by.
He took a seat in the chair by his study and pushed aside the cluttered papers on the desk, he lay down the parchment and unfolded it before him. His brows narrowed and his eyes widened as he recognized the writing as Dawn's, Sebastian could only guess that this was a map of Ambrose's camp.
He studied the map intently, grabbing a quill and a new notebook as he began writing down all he could. He wondered why she had this, did Dawn give this to her to set her up? Was she planning on going alone? Would she have even said goodbye to him if she did?
His distrust and hate towards Dawn grew as he let his thoughts swarm his mind, even if he wasn't intentionally trying to hurt her he shouldn't have ever given her this map. She was in no shape to try and fight this man on her own.
"Sebastian."
The voice startled Sebastian, causing him to jump nervously, knocking over the ink bottle that sat above the parchment.
"Dammit! Now look at that, there's ink all over the map for Merlin's sake!" Sebastian gasped as he tipped the ink bottle back up and pulled away the parchment before realizing part of it was now stained.
"What map?"
Sebastian whipped his head around to see Ominis. He was standing there with a suspicious look on his face and his arms crossed over his chest as if he was an angry mother catching their child doing something wrong.
"Why are you so nosy, it's quite honestly none of your concern." He snapped, wiping away some of the ink.
"I'd like to have a word with you Sebastian."
"Not now." He snapped, waving him away.
"Why? What are you hiding?" He asks, walking up to him and snatching the parchment from him.
"Hey! Give that back to me." Sebastian growls as he stood up but Ominis stepped back and shook his head with a narrowed brow.
"Revelio."
Sebastian watched him with anxious eyes as the map was revealed to him, he could see that it took Ominis a moment before he realized what it was that he was visualizing.
"What are you doing with this?" He asked, the frustration in his voice crystal clear but Sebastian stayed silent. He knew Ominis out of all people would try to keep him from getting Lena the help she needed.
"Sebastian!"
"Nothing, please just leave it be."
"Does Lena know about this?" He asks, looking more and more frustrated and confused by the moment. Sebastian resorted to silence once again, simply glaring at his old friend.
"What are you getting her involved with?" Ominis snarled, placing his hand on the back of the chair Sebastian sat in. "If you think I'm stupid enough not to see what you are doing then you are wrong."
"How dare you assume I'd put her in danger, I'm the only one who seems to be trying to keep her out of it!" Sebastian spat back, slamming his hand down besides Ominis'.
"Sebastian, I need you to listen to me this time."
"I'm going to find a cure, I need to... I won't sit back and watch her wither away. I can do it right this time."
