Welcome to Hogwarts

It was early morning when Lena made her way towards Professor Weasleys class, her palms slightly sweaty from nerves. She had a lot of respect for her Professor and hope she didn't upset or disrespect her by having been caught with sebastian twice. She didn't sleep as good as she'd hoped with the worry that this morning wouldn't go well, but she hoped for the best and knew that at the same time Professor Weasley always had her best interest in mind.

As she walks out into the crisp morning she notices the birds chirping playfully in the sun, she smiles at the calmness of the early morning. Taking a deep breath she crosses the transfiguration courtyard to Professor Weasley's classroom.

As she opens the door she sees Professor Weasley sitting at her desk towards the far back of the class, she lifts her head up from her paperwork with a smile. "Goodmorning Lena, thank you for coming."
She says gently as Lena walks towards the desk. "Goodmorning Professor, no problem. You said there was something you would like to talk about?"
She asks nervously, scratching her arm.

"Yes, I was wondering if you could do something for me." She begins as she lifts her wand and pulls a book from the bookcase that was pressed up against the far right wall and places it on the desk before her. Lena notices it's a new Slytherin field guide, curiously she picks it up. "Would you be able to help our new student Dawn, get settled into Hogwarts? Show him the castle, classes and bring him to Hogsmeade for supplies, just as Sebastian and Natty did for you."  Lena nods. "Of course professor there's definitely a lot to learn, that shouldn't be an issue." She says with a smile. "Perfect..."

Professor Weasley pauses for a brief moment as she laces her fingers together. "Speaking of Sebastian-"  She begins but lena cuts her off. "I can explain Professor-" she stutters. "No need to, I wanted to say I am glad to see that you reconnected with your friends so quickly here at Hogwarts and with everything you and Sebastian have both been through I think it's important that you both have eachother. Just keep the snogging to a minimum in the halls, if you would." She says with a smile and slight laugh. "Of course Professor, I can do that."

That's when she hears the doors to Professor Weasley's class open, Lena turns around to see Dawn approaching with a smile. "I apologize for being late professor, I must admit the castle is more complex than I had expected. I got lost on the way here." He says as he stands beside Lena. "That's quite alright Dawn, that is actually why I asked you to come by before breakfast. I just finished speaking with Lena, she will be showing you everything you need to know here and at the end of the day will bring you to Hogsmeade for your supplies." He nods and gives Lena a friendly smile.

"Well it's about time you both make your way to the great hall for breakfast, you will be a little late but not so much that you will miss it entirely." Professor Weasley suggests and with that the two make their way towards the great hall. Lena wondered how Sebastian would feel about her needing to help out Dawn but she hoped Sebastian would understand that she was only doing this for Professor Weasley.

"Thank you Miss Blackrose for helping me out. I hope I'm not too much of an inconvenience, I imagine you're a busy lady." Dawn says as they walk back across the courtyard and into the school. "Please, call me lena." She says as she looks to him and passes over his field guide."And it's no problem, I was in the same situation as you last year." He takes the book and looks down at it. "What book is this?" He asks.

"This is your field guide. Basically where you record everything from classes to items you need to collect to keeping track of what you need to do in a day." She explains, he nods as he examines the cover of the leather book. She watches as he runs his fingers over the snake that was twisted in the middle.

"Congrats on being in Slytherin by the way, it's a good house to be in. Three of my good friends are there." She says, he looks up to her with a grin. "Thanks, I'll be honest I didn't know what house I'd get sorted into. I ran into your friend Sebastian again, he is quite protective over you it seems." Lena feels her face flush with warmth. "I guess you could say he's protective, but he means well." She explains as she gives him a nervous laugh.
