Sebastians secret

Sebastian lay on his dorm room bed with a letter floating above his face as he repeatedly read the words over and over again.

'We will try this one more time, you take on your part of the deal or we will do it ourselves with no reward to you. You know where to find us.

He lets out a heavy sigh as he took his wand and lit the small paper on fire until it disappeared entirely.
It had been a week since his fight with Lena and he hasn't heard a thing from her. He's only seen her in classes and she would slip out when he joined the group if she was there. She was now spending a lot of time with Dawn too, which he hated. He felt like he properly ruined things with her.

"Hey." he glances over to see Ominis standing in the doorway with his arm rested on the frame. "Hey." Sebastian replied, his voice monotone. "You can't miss class. You know this, come on it's Friday then you are done for the weekend." Ominis says, a low groan came from Sebastian as he rolled off his bed and walked towards the door.

"I assume you still haven't heard anything from her?" Ominis asks as the two leave the common room together. "I think whatever we had is done, I shouldn't have said what I said to her." He whispers, he couldn't help but beat himself up. Lena was right about the letters, it didn't matter anymore - she chose him and he should've never pushed her to talk about anything she wasn't ready to talk about. She never did that to him. Why did he say those things to her? That was the old him that came through and she didn't deserve that. He knew he let her down again, and he was afraid after everything he may not be able to get back the only bit of a future he had left.

Sebastian dragged himself through another painful day of classes with Lena acting as if he were a ghost. Every time he had the opportunity to speak with her he talked himself out of it, Dawn hovered around her like a hawk which also bothered Sebastian greatly. This was just what the rat was looking for he bet, he still didn't trust him and had an awful feeling when he saw the two together. Reading their books and sharing notes, it made him sick.

Sebastian sighed as he gathered his books and watched as Lena sat with Sharp at the end of potions. He thought about the letter he received that morning, he knew he was in deep. Even if he was able to rekindle things with Lena, he still had a secret and if she found out he would be done for. He wished he had never entertained any of it.

"So then how are you feeling?" Professor sharp asks as he places down a stack of books in front of her. Lena sat across from him, staring at him with an unimpressed frown. "Tired." She mumbles, sharp pauses and lets out a long sigh. The both of them could see she had gotten weaker since the last time they talked, Lena really didn't realize it till the last couple days. She had dark bags under her eyes, pain in her leg and a constant headache. 

"Lena, I will say it a thousand times if I have to, Weasley and I are both very sorry... you know we just wanted what's best for you." He explains, Lena narrows her eyes at his as she sits with her arms crossed. Her defensive posture showed Sharp he would need to work to earn her trust and respect back. He didn't blame her.

"You and I both know it was for Black, not me." She snarls, he presses his lips into a frown as his gaze slowly moves away from her to where Dawn stood with his back pressed against the doorway. "Not now, come back later." Sharp says, lifting his wand about to close the door but Lena lifts her hand. "Wait." She says, glancing over to Dawn. "Come in." She says, tilting her head to him. Sharp looks at her with confusion. "He knows."

She could tell Sharp was about to question why he knew but didn't. He couldn't, considering she had no one else to talk to and she entirely ignored Sharp and Weasley for weeks. Lena's drunken mistake in telling Dawn may have been the best decision she's made in a while. He walked up to the two and sat beside her. Sharp gave him a simple uneasy glance before turning back towards Lena. "So, I've found a few potions that may be able to reverse the curse or at least ease it, I will have to make them but I can have you try the first one by tomorrow evening."
