"Keep moving!" Shouted the guard as he shoved the blonde woman forward. She struggled against her restraints before she glared back toward the man behind her. "I said keep moving."

"What are you going to do? You can't kill me." She spat but her glare slowly disappeared as she saw another man approaching.

"Thank you, Moreau." The man says, placing a hand on the guards shoulder. "I've got her from here."

The guard nods and turns to focus on the other prisoners.

"Giving my guards a hard time still, are we Stori?"

"Don't call me that." She snapped. "Where is Sorren?"

"He's coming, don't you worry Astoria. I can't fully separate the two of you... especially since I've got such a grand surprise coming."

"Grand surprise?"

The man smirked down at her. "Why your beloved daughter of course!"

Astorias eyes widened.

"Aren't you excited to meet her after all of these years?" He adds with a chuckle. "She looks so much like you."

Astoria glared again as he places his grimey hand on her lower back, pushing her to walk with him.

"I know you haven't got her Ambrose."

"No, no, you're right... not yet... but I have a wonderful plan. One that will bring her right to me." He says with a wicked chuckle.

"She's too smart, and she's much more powerful than you will ever be."

Ambrose surprised Astoria with a slap to the face, his rough and cold gloved hand stung.

"Mouthy, mouthy." Ambrose growls before pulling her aside. "Take a look."

He then conjured a ball of light before her, the blue glow lighting up against his grey hair. Astoria gasped as she stared, her eyes narrowing and mouth parting with shock.

"Y-you can't do this." She stammers. "They are just students and have nothing to do with this."

Ambrose smirked. "They aren't just students, they're our future... you see Stori, your daughter and her friends are the beginning of something amazing and if you want power, we could make a great team.."

"I'll never side with you." She growls, backing away slightly.

Ambrose gave her a wicked smile before nodding. "In time... in time."

A week later Lena stood at the edge of the hill that looked down on the village of Hogsmeade below, she ran her cold hands along her arms that were only covered by the satin blouse she had worn for the last three days.

The night that she came to find out the truth of her past, or at least part of it, she successfully convinced Alasdaire to keep all but the revelation of her real parents hidden.

As far as her friends know, she had only found out she was lied to about her family, and that unfortunately her parents were kept hostage by Ambrose.

Fortunately for her, Dawn somehow seemed unaware of her parents' connection to his mother but Lena couldn't help but feel this sort of jabbing guilt inside her when she saw him. She knew how much his mother had meant to him and in some odd way, she felt like she was responsible for her death.

It made sense now, though, or at least it began to make more sense. Ambrose was angry over the loss of his wife, and wanted revenge... It was just a perfect coincidence that Lena was the key to that revenge in more than one way.
