I cough blood while supporting myself by holding on to the near tree. Of course, it was the expected reaction from the pack of ogres. Them being fucking wild and aggressive, they really chased me to kill. Ugh, if I am gonna die at least at the hands of handsome men. Sana hindi nila ako nasundan.

"I thought I'm gonna die," I murmur and sigh.

I healed myself but some of my wounds and bruises did not. Looks like my magic is not potent anymore. Where am I going now? Should I self-destruct and fucking die here?

"I'm tired," I groaned and sat on the ground.

What's wrong with this fucking life? I should get a new life that always favors me!

I am busy ranting about my life when I heard something buzzing. The sound is a little bit familiar to me so I roamed my eyes to find it. Nanlaki ang mata ko ng makita ang isang malaking ipis na nasa puno.

I cringe in disgust.

Oh no. It's looking at me.

"Don't you dare to fucking fly," mahinang sabi ko habang umaatras.

It slightly tilts its head and fucking fly. It fucking flies!

"Fuck!" I shouted and ran.

Mali ata na ginawa ko 'yon dahil mas lalo akong naubusan ng hininga. It keeps following me oh my God! It's so disgusting!

Hindi ko alam kung anong kamalasan ang dumapo saakin at napatid ba ako sa sanga ng puno. Malutong akong napamura sa isip ko at mabilis na nilingon ang ipis.

Patuloy na lumalapit sa akin ang ipis kaya lalo akong kinilabutan. No, I don't want to die because of a cockroach! Unti-unti itong lumapit saakin kaya wala na akong nagawa kundi ang pumikit. As if I want to see that disgusting face!

Suddenly, a sticky and smelly liquid covered my whole body. Lalo akong nangilabot sa naramdaman at naamoy ko.

"Hey, are you okay?" A young man walked towards me. "Oh, sorry about the blood."

"No worry, thank you for saving me," I said and smile.

"Uhm, can I ask how did you get here? This place has a bunch of monsters. A young lady like you can't go to this place," he said.

"I actually ran away from home," I lied. "My parents were abusing me."

"That's why you have wounds and bruises. Come on, let me help you," he offered.

"Thanks. By the way, what's your name?"

"Ah, I'm Patrick, you are?"

"I'm Magdalena, I'm really thankful that you were there to save me." Because it's a shame to die because of a mere cockroach.

Why is that so fucking big? Nag-evolve ba 'yan o something?

"Yeah, the corokoroches are the second to the weakest monster but they're just so many and fast to reproduce," aniya.
