Dream accidentally blows himself and Tommy up.
They survive, but they have brain damage and memory loss. They end up bonding.
They end up at Technoblade's place and start to recover there. They also bond more there.
They slowly/sporadically remember bits and pieces of their lost memories.
Eventually Dream remembers Spirit, his dead horse that Tommy tried to use the corpse of against Dream, and gets mad but Tommy and Dream get through it since they are bonded by this point.
