Dream gives everything of himself up. He gives all of himself to his 'purpose'. His purpose? To spread positivity of course!
Dream bends over backwards to give others happiness. It gets harder though. Not everyone can be pleased with some kind or supportive words. People want more. They always want more. So, he gives more. He gives more and more, throwing away his boundaries for the sake of spreading positivity.
Eventually, he has nothing left to give. All that's left is a husk. He's sorry. He's so, so sorry.
By the time he noticed, it was already too late.
