Chapter 20: Hero or Villain

Hunhow goes to watch the news with Crystal and they watch a small brief story about his recent crime. However the girl and her family still won't cooperate with the authorities so they sadly don't have any leads and the case is quickly getting cold. Hunhow smiles and knows he has done a good job of covering his tracks. Crystal watches him but doesn't bring up the topic of the girl. He then sees his mom and dad are both coming back home so he tells Crystal the news and quickly gives a hug and kiss before leaving. He drives home and moves all the gear to his truck before his parents arrive.

~ Time Skip ~ 15 Minutes Later ~

Hunhow's parents Jane and Joseph both arrive home and he greets them with a hug and kiss. They go inside the house and settle back into life at home. "Hunhow Jamis Riley" his mom calls out in an upset tone. Whenever she calls his full name, it means she is pissed about something. He panics and goes to her. Luckily it isn't anything serious. She is upset that he didn't clean up the basement nor the house while they were gone. Jane being the mother Anthro wolf she is, scolds Hunhow for being lazy. Afterwards, she goes to settle down while he signs in relief. His dad however tells him not to worry and that he'll take care of it. He then goes to clean the house while Hunhow texts Crystal.

~ Time Skip ~ Few Hours Later ~

Hunhow is sitting eating dinner with his parents. He finishes and goes to watch the news and then sees a recent report and article about his recent crimes. Many call him a hero while others call him a violent criminal who is taking the law into his own hands at a dangerous level. Hunhow begins to process what he has done. He knows he is a criminal. He knows what he has done is evil. But he doesn't care. He then goes to turn off the TV but then a story pops up. It shows a story of 3 missing teenagers that were believed to have been abducted from their neighborhood. Hunhow quickly takes a photo of the license plate featured on the news and realizes something. He drove into the city a couple days ago to drink and he saw the 3 men he fought killed in the bathroom using a van with the same markings just different license plates. He puts two and two together and realizes that the men planned to abduct the girl he saved. But now he knows there are more teens out there. He knows what he has to do. So he decides to wait for his parents to go to sleep. He grabs his keys and sneaks out the door. He drives to the city and heads towards the police station.

~ Time Skip ~ Sometime Later ~

Hunhow makes it to the 9th district police station and makes sure of his identity. He doesn't look up towards the cameras and doesn't make eye contact with anyone. He watches multiple guards and waits for one of them with an access code. When the guard is alone and no cameras are around, Hunhow sneaks up behind the guard and takes him out by head locking him and punching him in the back of the head. He steals the access code while hiding the body in the janitor room. He goes into the files cabinet and discovers that the 3 men he killed were wanted for kidnapping for a smuggling ring. He gains the location of their address the police put into the report and goes to see and look for clues. He leaves the police station bypassing security and makes it back to his truck. He then drives away from the station and goes to the address.

~ Hunhow Arrives at The Location ~

Hunhow goes to the back of his truck and retrieves his tactical thin blue line punisher vest as well as a powerful military assault rifle he got from his uncle's weapons stash.
