Chapter 10: Call To Duty

Hunhow wakes up the next day 10 minutes early but doesn't care cuz he wants to get to school and pick up Crystal. He follows his morning routine - Shower, Brush Teeth, Gets his Punisher Hoodie, Gets dressed and heads down stairs. "Morning, sweetheart" Jane calls out to him. "Morning mom" he says. "Sup, son" Joseph says. Hunhow eats breakfast cereal and drinks a milkshake. He then kisses his mom and hugs his dad goodbye for the day. He grabs his truck keys and hops in. He pulls out and drives to Crystal's house.

~ 20 minutes later, Hunhow arrives at Crystal's house ~

Hunhow picks up Crystal at her house but her parents want to meet him so badly cuz they feel she did the right thing by leaving Kevin and have never seen her more happy than ever. Hunhow introduces himself to her Mom and Dad and they are quite delighted to see the young man. Before they leave her home, Hunhow promises them to bring her to school safe and sound. They are quite charmed by the comment and they let him and Crystal off the hook.

~18 minutes later, Hunhow and Crystal arrive at school ~

Hunhow parks into the packing lot and hops out the driver side. He goes over to the passenger side to help Crystal get out the big truck. Afterwards they walk in together and everyone in the Cafeteria sees them holding hands. They sit down at their table with Lizzie, Jennifer and Marcus. Fritz also sees what's happening and despite being upset, decides not to bother Hunhow because he promised Hunhow he didn't want either side to be in each other's way or fighting. Kevin and his group are still suspended so they aren't here to see this. Kevin would be super pissed but this isn't about him or his jock peers. What matters is Crystal is happy and Hunhow didn't have to worry about bullying or fighting today.

~ Principal Jessica Comes into the Cafeteria to gives morning announcements ~

She doesn't once mention fighting but says bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. And that repeated offenders may be kicked out or parents could press charges. Everyone was mainly looking at Fritz, Edmund and Hugo the whole time. Afterwards, they were all counted for attendance and dismissed to their first period classes. Hunhow decided to go to the rest room so he wouldn't have to ask to leave during his English Language Arts/ELA class. "Go on, I be there in few just have to head to rest room" Hunhow says to the gang. "Alrighty then", Lizzie says. Hunhow walks to the restroom and then goes to class. He enters and his Thursday First Period teacher is there. However she is the same teacher who was watching him plus fritz and his guys. "Why are you late"? The teacher asked annoyed since they were waiting for him. "Yeah, I remember when you said yesterday at detention that the bell does not dismiss you, I dismiss you" Hunhow says sarcastically. "Okay, what about it" the teacher ask. "Well, if the bell does not dismiss me, it does not tell me when I should get to your class on time". Hunhow retorted. "Get outta my class, Hunhow" the teacher says annoyed. "Why, because I went to the restroom and ended up 7 minutes late"? "You barely even teach class half of the time". "I gave you homework yesterday, put it on my desk on your way out" the teacher says pretty annoyed now. "I finished it in detention yesterday, I put it on your desk" Hunhow says after handing it to the teacher. "Hunhow, why are your answers all the way from question 1 to 5 the exact same as the textbook answers"? "Oh, I don't know, maybe because I did the problems and checked the text book to make sure they were right and correct". "Can any of y'all believe this". Hunhow says jokingly to the class. Everyone starts to giggle and laugh a little. "That's it, out of the classroom, NOW" the teacher says as she is getting red and fed up with the nonsense. "Okay fine, can I just go back to the bathroom again"? Hunhow asked her. "What for"? she demands. Hunhow looks at the class and back at her. "To open the chamber of secrets, WHAT DO YOU THINK"? He says jokingly as well as in a loud voice. The teacher stands up and slams her papers down on her desk. "OUT"!!! she shouts. Hunhow grabs his backpack and runs out the door. Everyone Furry and Human burst out laughing their asses off. "Stop laughing!!'" the teacher shouts. Nobody listens and everyone starts to laugh even more. "That's it" she says as she storms out. Everyone is laughing their asses off and even crying from how funny the whole thing was. Some students even recorded the whole thing and immediately started sharing it to the whole school. Lizzie, Jennifer, Marcus and Crystal are also losing it. "That was the funniest shit I've seen all day" Lizzie says.
