Chapter 41: I Work Alone

~ Time Skip ~ Few Days Later ~

Hunhow is getting food at a city hall food truck when he runs right into the 3 Anthro females from the office. He doesn't make direct eye contact and tries to use the busy city crowd as cover. They don't notice him and he quickly gets his food. He walks away following the crowd and gets to his truck which is parked in a alleyway. But as he makes it to his truck, Amber the tall leopard female Anthro pops out from behind. She grabs him and pushes him up against his truck. "Relax, I don't want any trouble". "I want to ask you questions". "But if you lie to me, I'm gonna make this not so fun for you" she said. "What does your ass want now"? he said. "What is it your trying to hide"? "Come on tell me, I won't eat you" she said sympathetic. "Fine, just get behind the truck" he said. She complies and gets begin his truck. There he removes the hatch for the flatbed and pulls out a couple weapons. He then removes one of the four tactical vest. He puts on the vest and shows her. A large and sinister skull with a partial blue line. She was taken aback by the symbol. She despite her tall height and tough military appearance began to shake nervous and a little scared. "Now you know the truth". "So don't piss me off or you'll be joining the punks I put down in the morgue". With that Hunhow took off his vest and put it along with the weapons in the bed of the truck. He gets in with his food and drives away.

~ Time Skip ~ 7 Hours Later ~

Hunhow waits in his truck until night fall. His phone rings and he speaks with Looma. She informs him he has to come in. He gets out the truck, puts on his vest, grabs his rifles plus Glock 30 and walks to the city hall building. He uses a back entrance and makes his way to her office while avoiding the security cameras. He reaches the office and sees Amber, Tenet and Cassidy already there. Amber sees his vest and his menacing stare and she starts to become nervous. Tenet and Cassidy catch her gaze and see Hunhow standing in the doorway. He stares that menacing look and they start to slowly back away from the door. He walks in and sits in the corner. "So girls, if you haven't noticed or figured out already the person you're working with is-" Looma is then cut off by Amber. "The Punisher"?! she says in a loud whimpering voice. "I'll be assisting them, I never said I was working with them". "I work alone" he says. "And remember what I told you earlier" he said looking at Amber. "She shutters and nods her head. "As for the rest of you, don't piss me off" he says as a warning. Looma breaks the silence and gets everyone to calm down. "Alright here's how this operation is going to work". "Amber, Tenet and Cassidy will scout and overwatch". "Hunhow, you'll do what you do best and get the information from the head in charge of the warehouse". "The warehouse is abandoned and is currently being used by a group of criminals operating it as a dead drop for weapons, drugs, arms dealing and racketeering". "Hunhow, you'll have my best shooters watching ur back". Hunhow looks back at the Anthros. "I'll manage myself". He walks out the door. Hunhow walks to his truck. He steps in, puts the keys in the ignition and drives away.

~ Time Skip ~ 2 Hours Later ~ Midnight

Hunhow gets a call from Tenet. She tells him her and the others are in position. He gets out his truck which is parked near the warehouse and goes to get his gear on. After grabbing his 2 KRISS Vectors, Glock 30 and his M416A4 he begins to scout the area and move into his military holding pattern. He makes his way towards the warehouse while Tenet, Amber and Cassidy watched closely. He uses his M416A4 which was equipped with a suppressor to take out a few patrols. He sneaked up behind a man and quickly slits his throat and stabs his left eye. He quickly notices one guard walking towards the commotion so he hides behind the corner. The guard stops and sees the body but as he goes to examine, Hunhow comes from behind and stabs him twice in the neck and puts him in a chokehold. The man grunts and struggles before dying and Hunhow pushes him away. While Hunhow does this, the 3 Anthro females watch. They see first hand just how brutal his methods of killing are and they can clearly see he is military trained. Hunhow prepares his KRISS Vectors and puts in the activation code he found on the previous guard. He unlocks the door and goes inside. From there all they hear is gunfire. Inside Hunhow in engaged with multiple armed men. He ducks for cover and one by one successfully takes out the guards. He then runs out of ammo so he removes his blades. And when his blades finally run dull, he uses his fist. When the dust and gun powder settles, only one of the men survive. "The target is one the second floor heading for the balcony" he radios in. Tenet and Amber both run towards the warehouse to cut off his escape. Cassidy changes positions to get a clear shot. The man makes it to the balcony. But as he begins to climb down Hunhow kicks him in the face. He falls two stories down and crashes onto a dumpster. He rolls off and then falls to the ground in pain. He tries to get up but Hunhow then shoots him in both his leg and arm. Tenet and Amber both rush by his side. Soon Cassidy joins up and they high five each other on a job well done. Cassidy checks the warehouse only to find blood and carnage all over. She is shocked and terrified that Hunhow the punisher left behind a gruesome scene. "We're not done yet" Hunhow tells the group. With a quick kick to the face he renders the man unconscious.

~ Time Skip ~ Hour Later ~

The man grunts in pain and that pain is soon replaced by fear. He is gagged, tied to a metal chair and panicking. Hunhow sets up a camera for Mayor Looma to watch. Cassidy, Amber and Tenet all watch as the man begins to cry in fear. Hunhow sits in the corner with his blades sharpening them. He then gets up and walks over to the man. The chair the man is sitting in is rigged to a old and busted light switch. However the wires are exposed and 2 priyers are hooked into the switch. So whenever the switch is turned on, the electricity is transferred to the chair. Almost like an electric chair for death row inmates. Hunhow stands in front of the man and begins his method of interrogation. "Who is in charge of your operation"? The man spits in his face. Hunhow wipes it away and then kicks the man to the ground. The chair tips over and he falls down. He then grabs a small mallet and smashes it against the man's face and hands breaking them in the process. The man cries out while the others watch completely horrified by this. Hunhow lifts the man's chair back up and positions him in the center of the room. "Let's try that again, shall we". "Who is your boss". He uncovers the man's mouth waiting for a answer. "F-fu-ck y-you". Hunhow decides to make this more fun. But not for the man. He gags the man again and then walks over to the light switch. He turns in on and the electricity begins to surge all throughout the man's body as well as the chair. He leaves the light switch on for nearly 2 minutes. He shuts it off while the man is gasping and squirming around trying to break free from the chair. The others are watching Hunhow with shocked terrified looks. "Unfortunately, your pain will become more severe". He removes his blades and begins to slice off pieces of the man's cheeks and lips. Finally he is done and licks the blood off his knife. "Now I'll will ask you again, boy". "Who are you working for"? The man looks at the 3 Anthro females before back at Hunhow. He stares terrified. Hunhow decides the man won't talk so he goes to turn on the light switch. "NOOO"!! "No, Please"!! "PLEASE, DON'T"!! He screams. Hunhow looks over at the man and walks over slowly to him. "Where's your boss" he asks again. "I don't-" Before the man can finish Hunhow smashes his mallet against the man's knee. "Aggghhh" he screams. "Talk now" Hunhow says staring at him. "H-he's...." H-he's i-in the basement of...." "The base-ment of a restaurant". "L-ittle Italy in chin-a town". "PLEASE I tol-d you". The man is whimpering and terrified. Hunhow stares at him trying to detect any signs of lies. But he sees none. "W-hat ar-e you goin-g to do"? the man says whimpering and shivering in fear as well as pain. Hunhow stares coldly at the man before glancing back at Cassidy, Amber and Tenet. He raises his mallet and delivers his verdict. "I think I'm gonna find a new home for this" he says grinning. "NOOOOO...."!! the man screams. Hunhow smashes the mallet against the man's face over and over and over. He breaks man's nose and even severs the bottom jaw completely off his face. His face is left pulverized and sunken in. Hunhow picks up the mallet which is now cracked and partially broken and turns to walk away. He grabs the camera and tells Looma it is done. He then shuts it off and walks to the entrance of the warehouse. He stares back to see the others horrified and visibly shaken by the whole ordeal. He tells them to quite daydreaming and get into the truck. They snap out of it and make their way to front entrance and then towards his truck. They hop in and don't even dare to say a word.

~ Time Skip ~ Few Hours Later ~

Hunhow arrives at the city hall building. He then steps out and the others step out as well. He tells them all to go and that he'll be there shortly. None of them respond, they just do as he said. He walks to the bed of his truck and changes. He then walks across the street and goes to the back door of the city hall main building. He enters and makes his way to Looma's office. He enters and sees the girls visibly shaken. He ignores them however and tells her the job is finished and he'll be going for the boss tomorrow. But before he leaves, Cassidy calls out to him. "How old are you"? she asked. He stops and turns to look at her. "19". She looks at him with her eyes widen. "Just pray you don't see me again after this". He walks out the room and goes back outside. He drives home. He enters his house and sleeps in his bed. But not before getting the same visions he had experienced while in Afghanistan of killing the Equalist prisoners of war......
