~ Time Skip ~ Few Days Later ~

When the news of the Punisher's pardon reaches the news media, there are so many mixed reactions. Some say this could set a bad example for the city while others say he is a hero and did his job well. After nearly a month of criminal trial, Hunhow is pardoned by the city, mayor and the state. He spends his days in his home and doesn't go outside not wanting to attract attention to himself. Kane, Fredrick, Rivers, Teresa, Fritz, Hugo and Edmund all stop by a few times a week to check on him and spend time with him. They celebrate the news of his pardon except Hunhow isn't celebrating and doesn't plan to. He cannot forgive himself for what he has done. His only option now is to move on and do better. In a way that will make his family, friends and the people around him proud.

Hunhow is called in by Looma. The city wants him to come forward and tell the truth and clear his name once and for good. Hunhow doesn't want to go public. He knows that by going public he could set the stage for the wrong group. He will be hailed as a hero when he doesn't want to. He feels the attention will only embolden others to follow down the wrong path. But eventually he knows that this is his chance to explain himself to everyone and he wants everyone to know the truth and understand why he did it all. He prepares for the press conference and calls his friends and family. Once he finishes his call, the mayor begins the press conference. Then when she finishes her words, she motions to Hunhow to come out and onto the stage. He takes a deep breath and walks onto the stage. His grim but Strong appearance is enough to set the scene for the entire conference. Hunhow despite his nervousness and grim state, never allows this to stop him. He eventually speaks to the city and the crowd of who he is. He explains his childhood, teenage life and his family. He talks about how he loved his life and family and would do anything to protect them as well as the lives of innocents. He then describes how his life shattered when his Uncle died and how he took it up on himself to avenge his death and punish those who have done wrong and refuse to do right. "I was never a hero". "And I never asked to be called one". "The real heroes would be our first responders and military who put their lives on the line everyday for us all to live freely and alive". "I'm not a good person, I've made mistakes". "I've killed people, I've broken the law and broke that law many times". "I was never like this before". "All I ever wanted was to have a normal life and spend my days with family and friends". "Mom, Dad....." "I love you and I'm so incredibly sorry for what I've done". "I can only hope you can love me and forgive me". "As for the city of New York, I want you all to know that the punisher is no more". "I can only hope, you can forgive me for what I've done". Hunhow finishes the press conference before stepping away from the podium. He hugs Looma one final time before ending the conference and leaving. He gets into his truck and drives home. When he arrives home he is greeted by Holly and his parents Jane and Joseph. They hug and happily sit together as a family. He then pulls out his guitar and sings by the fireplace all while smiling and laughing as a normal person for the first time all while surrounded by Family......
