Chapter 31: A Normal Life Once More

~ 3 Months Later ~

Hunhow is just about finished with high school. He and his remaining friends Lizzie, Jennifer and Marcus are all looking forward to the summer. He is a senior so he is graduating while Lizzie and Jennifer are moving to the 12th grade. Marcus is graduating to the 11th grade. They all chat about the upcoming big graduation day. Hunhow is thrilled to finally be out of school. And even better he soon could be moving into his uncle's house since it has been refurbished, clean, fixed and has had some renovations put in place. He saved up plenty of money as well as using the money mayor Looma gave him to buy the home. He now has to finish the last week of school and he'll be home free.

~ Time Skip ~ Sometime Later ~

Hunhow is at a small bar and watching TV when all of a sudden a news report pops up about him. He hasn't fought, killed, or attacked any criminals in the city for quite some time now and his absence has almost left a hole in the city. With the police unable to find leads, his trail has gone cold as if he has gone off the grid. Even though the crime rate has dropped by more than half in over 10 years, NYC has since felt the Punisher's absence has left a wound. Many say they want him to come back while others say he has done well. Even critics of him say the punisher has meant a great deal for them all. Hunhow doesn't want to be the punisher anymore. He feels it's time that the murdering, the killing, the fighting has to stop. He hasn't been caught and he wants to keep it that way. His trail has gone cold and off the grid. Now he just wants to lay low. He pays his tab and goes to leave the bar. Once he leaves he gets in his truck and goes home to his parents.

~ Time Skip ~ One Hour Later ~

Hunhow makes it home and finally greets his parents. He hugs them and they congratulate him on the upcoming high school graduation. He thanks them and hugs them for their support. He heads upstairs and goes to call Crystal on his laptop. She answers and they talk about their days and future plans. She talks about her family and he feels a since of happiness for her. They then video call kiss before Hunhow decides to play a song for her. He grabs his guitar and plays while singing Up To The Cloud by Owl City.

She is touched by the song and blushes. He then wraps up with a video kiss before saying goodbye. He then goes downstairs to eat dinner with his family while they still can't stop gossiping over him graduating.

~ Time Skip ~ 1 Week Later ~

It's graduation day for Hunhow and his friends. They all go to the ceremony and hang out. They then after a while are assigned seats. And the ceremony begins. Hunhow is kinda bored out of his mind. But he needs to keep a straight and normal face during the graduation. After what seemed like forever, his name is called and he gets his high school diploma from Principal Jessica. She hugs him and shakes his hand and he gets a standing ovation from the entire school. He goes to sit back down and spends the rest of the day clapping for his friends and others and listening to other achievements. When the ceremony is over his parents hug him and are overjoyed. Together He, his parents and friends all go out to eat and celebrate. They stop at a diner and then finish the day by hugging and having a good time. Hunhow goes home with his parents and they all sit together as a family and watch TV and the news. They joke, laugh, and have a good time before all going to bed. Hunhow starts to feel better about his life and about what he has done. He falls asleep while thinking about what to do next with his life....
