5. GOOD NIGHT

Yuna's POV

How the hell am I here? Oh yeah, I have friends who buy a board game which comes to life. This is such a Jumanji rip-off. Everyone else were busy talking to each other and I just went out to patio and looked at the stars. I was out for a while when I heard the door open. I kinda groaned because I don't like it when people interrupt my privacy.

"You seem very angry", the guy named Huening Kai said. So he was the one who came out.

"Looks like getting alone time isn't possible here", I snorted.

"Yep, very angry", he said.

"I'm not angry", I defended, I mean it's true, "I'm just thinking. What? Is it a rule here that thinking is not allowed?".

"Calm down. You don't have to be so defensive", he said.

"Okay, I just don't like it when people make assumptions", I told him.

"In that case, I'm sorry. I just wanted to say that everyone is getting ready to sleep. You should too", he advised.

"Okay then, thanks", I answered.

When I got in everyone had already split up the rooms.

"You're with the two quiet girls, the last door on the left", Edlynne told me while side-eyeing her brother. I figured that she meant Sullyoon and Jinni because we were in front of a door where I heard Jinsol, Jiwoo and Kyujin arguing about beds.

"Okay, thanks a lot", I said and went to the room. When I entered the room, it looked like Sullyoon and Jinni were waiting for me.

"Were you waiting?", I asked, "I'm so sorry ", I apologized.

"You don't have to apologize Unnie. We figured since you're older, you should pick the bed", Jinni said.

"You didn't have to. You guys should have chosen, you entered first", I told them.

"But you're here now so you choose", Sullyoon said.

I looked around the room. There was one bed near the window and the other two were like twin beds, next to each other. I knew Sullyoon and Jinni were really close so I figured that they would like to be close to each other.

"I'll take the bed next to the window and you guys can take the beds that are close to each other, if that's okay", I told them.

"Okay Unnie, thanks", Sullyoon said.

"Should we just get rid of the honorifics? I'm not used to being called Unnie", I confessed.

"But calling you Yuna would be disrespectful", Jinni said.

"It's okay, please, I don't think honorifics exist here", I said, practically begging. They reluctantly agreed.

There was a huge dresser in the room and when we opened it, there were a lot of clothes. They were extremely princessy and sorta olden timey but really pretty. There were some night gowns too.

"I don't think we'll be able to sleep in these pajamas. We passed out in the forest wearing these", I said, still kinda uncomfortable about all this.

"Yeah", Sullyoon agreed, "these night gowns, it is, I guess".

We decided to sleep but I just couldn't. I just sat on my bed and looked out the window. Looking at the stars or the night sky always gave me comfort.

"I have a question", Jinni piped up. I guess she didn't sleep either.

"Yeah?", Sullyoon asked.

"Do you think we would've got sucked into this game if anyone other than me rolled the dice? Or it would've happened to anyone of us?", she questioned. I didn't know how to answer. It was probably not and could've happened to anyone of us but we'll never know.

"Why would you think that?", Sullyoon said, "you heard Edlynne and Huening Kai, they said it was prophesied that the ten of us would come here".

"Yeah, I know but I feel that it was my fault. When I held the dice it felt heavy like a brick. I didn't give it much thought at first but it felt that way", Jinni confessed.

"Jinni, there's a lot of magic at play here. I'm pretty sure Sullyoon is right. We have no option but to help Edlynne and Huening Kai. It could've happened to any of us", I told Jinni.

"Yeah, you guys are right. I just overthink sometimes", she admitted.

"Great, now let's try to sleep. Who knows, maybe this was all a dream and when you wake up, you're at home", Sullyoon joked.

"Okay", Jinni said and after a while, the two of them drifted off to sleep. I just couldn't so I just kept looking out the window.

"I'm not sure if this sky is real but good night dad, good night mom", I whispered. I tried to go to sleep.

A dream? Hope Sullyoon's right. This feels way too real.
