8. TRAINING

『 Sunoo's POV 』

After Kyujn and Bae came back from their morning stroll, Huening Kai gathered us all in the wide area outdoors and said he had something important to tell us.

"How'd you sleep last night?", I asked Jiwoo, whi was sitting next to me.

"Well enough, you?", she returned.

"Same", I replied. When Jiwoo doesn't talk much, it means she's worried. I gave her a pat on the back and smiled which she returned.

"Okay, so you guys have a gist of what's happening and none of us want to be here. We understand but you guys are here and there's no going back. It's impossible as the only portal is in the Cathedral. So we're going in there, and we're getting the stones, one realm at a time and for that, we need to train you guys. Help you harness and understand your powers. Are you all willing to do it?", he said. He must have been a really great ruler. I thought because he was giving an amazing inspirational talk to us and had the qualities of an amazing leader.

"Yes!", I heard the others shout and so I followed them. It felt like kindergarten students with their teacher.

"So, we'll explain to each of you what each of you are capable of and teach you how to best utilize your powers", Edlynne said. I knew this day would last long.

"Let's start with Bae. You have what we call dream and illusion magic, which corresponds with the Illusion Stone or the Stone Of Reality. This means you'll have premonitions along with the ability to create illusions of any sort. You'll also be able to see other people's dreams, and whatever you dream of may come true, even your nightmares, but at your command. You can also show your dreams to others but you already know about that", Edlynne explained. We all turned to Bae, who had a very serious face and looked at Kyujin. Fishy. I thought.

"We'll teach you how to use your powers and understand them, for you correspond with the most dangerous realm of all", Huening Kai said.

"Next Sullyoon, you are a healing fairy. There are many different fairies but this type is one of the most powerful. You correspond with the Stone of Life, guarded in the Realm of Magical Creatures. Earlier, creatures used to run free wherever they wanted but after Cadmodeus, the were all confined to one realm in the kingdom. You have the ability to heal yourself and anything, person or animal, instantaneously along with the ability of flight. You're practically invincible because you can't get injured", Huening Kai said.

"Wait! So if someone impales her with a spear, she'll heal herself and won't die?", Ni-ki asked.

"Probably, there are some weaker healing fairies without that ability", Edlynne answered.

"How do you know if Sullyoon is not that type of fairy?", Jinni asked.

"We'll have to check her wings. The more powerful the fairy, the more intricate the designs on his or her wings", Huening Kai informed. This is really cool. I thought.

"Now, Jinni, a fire elemental. Pretty easy to understand, I think. The word elemental was coined to describe someone who could control an element. There have been a few here in Entwurf, even the Guardians are elementals. You correspond with the Fire Stone and the Realm of Fire, the first realm we'll be going to. This means you control fire, wherever there is fire, you can hear and see. It can do your bidding. This also means you are immune to it. You can't be burnt. You can't be affected by heat, and in extreme cold, you can easily warm yourself", Edlynne said.
