Mara took one last look at Narnia then turned back to look at her parents. Aria had tears rolling down her furry cheeks as she nuzzled her husband's mane. Aslan nuzzled his wife and gave his daughter an encouraging smile, nodding at her. Mara gave her parents a tearful smile then nodded back at her father. After taking her surroundings in for the last time, Mara and the Pevensie siblings walked through the tree, leaving Narnia for what would be the last time. The group returned to the train station as if they had never left. Mara instantly looked for the mirror her mother gave her and her wedding ring. Seeing that she still had them, with her ring on a necklace chain around her neck, the young teenage girl sighed in relief. She did noticed that they were all back in their school uniforms liked before. Tears started to appear in her eyes as Mara's thoughts went to her parents. Peter instantly brought her into his arms, rubbing her shoulders, comforting her.

Susan, Edmund, and Lucy watched their brother and sister-in-law with sympathy in their eyes. They knew that from that moment on, they would have to be there for Mara. The train then appeared and the group rushed to grab their luggage to get on the train. They got onto the train, standing next to each other. Each of them grabbed a pole as the train went to move. Mara then noticed that Edmund was looking for something and said to him, concerned, "Everything okay, Ed?" Edmund turned to Mara, looking at her and his siblings, and replied, "I left my new torch at Narnia." Mara and the siblings smiled and chuckled at each other. The train then began to move on the tracks, causing the doors to close. While it may seem that their journeys of Narnia has came to an end, it was only the beginning.
