Chapter 10: The Year We All Came Together
The next day, Miyano planned to meet Ogasawara and Yokota to bring them into the pack. Sasaki had helped plan it all, and the rest of the pack was to meet them in a park nearby.
The head omega was in sync with his inner self as he paced excitedly. The bunny was zooming around their field in clear anticipation to welcome their new packmates.
"I can feel your excitement, ya know." Sasaki was there beside him. He was smiling, and his hazel eyes glittered in amusement.
Oh, right. Sasaki was meeting him here at the train station. "I can't help it. It's just so exciting to find new packmates!"
Sasaki laughed then and hid his grin behind his hand. "You're so cute, Mya-chan." He reached forward to touch his hand lightly, and Miyano quickly linked their fingers together. They learned yesterday that they could read and feel each other's emotions when they physically touched each other.
Amusement. Excitement. Adoration. Those emotions were shared between them and they just stared at each other.
They became so lost in each other that they almost missed their train. They laughed with each other as they took their seats.
"Here, Mya-chan." Sasaki handed him a blue bag. "I finished it last night."
"That was fast, I gave it to you before you left yesterday." Miyano put it away in his bag, and he stared curiously at his boyfriend.
"Yeah, I really enjoy this series! It's your favorite too, right?"
Miyano lit up at that. "Yes! I'm so glad you're enjoying it! So what did you think about the plot twist at the end?"
Sasaki got just as animated as he groaned and pouted. "It was good, and really unexpected. I can't believe they ended it like that!"
Miyano nodded, excited. "But it really explains a lot for the way they met! It's going to be hard waiting for the next volume, though..." Miyano pouted as well, and Sasaki laughed abruptly, causing Miyano to turn to him.
"Sorry, it's just crazy how our emotions kind of sync now when we're touching."
Miyano squeezed the hand he never let go of. "Does it bother you?"
Sasaki looked aghast, and quickly shook his head. "No! I really like it, I feel closer to you." And that look he gave him made Miyano's stomach flop with butterflies.
"Me too." Was all he could say as he stared into browns and greys that almost turned golden when the sunlight hit them.
It took no time at all to reach the park, and Miyano checked his phone as the group chat went off.

|| I'll stand out so you guys can see me, it's toward the west end. -Tashiro
They both went toward the area in the park, noting how there were few people out. They saw the dual-toned hair of their packmate, and the beta waved excitedly for them.
