So Miyano met up with Kuresawa early the next day to go over the betting pool. "Spill." He told the beta, who was all smiles.
"Kagiura and Hirano-senpai are the popular ones to bet on right now."
"Wait, 'right now?'" Miyano narrowed his eyes.
"Before it was you and Sasaki-senpai."
The head omega sighed. Of course. He really didn't want to know anymore about the bets on him and his mate. "Okay, whatever. So what are the bets going on right now?"
"So it's no secret that Kagiura is openly in love with Hirano, and senpai is slowly starting to reciprocate - whether he realizes it or not."
Miyano nodded. "Yeah, Kagiura confessed to him on the trip... and Hirano is still thinking about it - thinking about him in that way." The omega theorized that Hirano just never thought about romance before Kagiura's confession, so now he has to explore what that's like.
Kuresawa propped his hand up to lean on it. "So now the bet is, will Hirano realize his feelings and confess on or around Christmas, or at graduation?"
"Why those specific dates?"
"Christmas is Kagiura's birthday, also pretty romantic, and graduation means they'll be separated so it should give them a boost in getting together."
Miyano tilted his head, curious. "But what if they get together before Christmas? Anyone betting on that?"
