Chapter 36: New Chapter

The day was bright when Miyano joined the others in their dorm. There were boxes in the entry and first room, all from him, Tashiro, Fujimi, Kuresawa, Kagiura, and their newest member. Sasaki had already brought his things the day before, so his alpha was busy helping his things to their room.

Their room.

Miyano's heart beat faster as excitement thrummed just under his skin. Of course, the roommate situation. It was a given that bonded mates would share a room, but the rest of the pack also decided to room with their respective partners. Well, except Yokota "stole" Fujimi to be her roommate, so Ogasawara and Kuresawa were rooming together instead.

"How much did you bring?" Hirano asked Kagiura, his tone chiding.

Kagiura was sheepish, but pouted at his boyfriend. "It's the same amount as what I had in the dorms before!"

"Nah, there's at least two extra boxes." Hirano heaved a box up the stairs.

Miyano could hear Kagiura grumbling after him, and the omega smiled.

"Mya-chan, I got all your stuff in our room." Sasaki told him, and Miyano blinked widely as he looked back at where his boxed things once sat.

Finding it empty, he looked shocked at his mate. "You carried them all up already? I didn't even notice!"

Sasaki grinned, looking proud of himself. "Of course. They weren't that heavy."

Miyano had to disagree. He had at least three boxes filled with books, and those were so heavy that Tashiro had to help him move them from their house. He knew Sasaki was really strong, but he was able to move those heavy boxes all by himself? And so fast?

Miyano felt a shuddering feeling deep in his gut and his eyes instantly traced the very visible biceps just under his mate's short sleeves...

"Hey, pack leader!" Shirahama called out to him, and Miyano yelped slightly. It broke him out of his trance and he blushed as his eyes left his too-smug and too-handsome boyfriend.

"Yes? And, ah, you don't have to call me that!" Miyano found himself chiding his newest pack member, who was smiling while carrying his own boxes.

"Okay! I'm in the room that way, right?" He gestured with his head down the hall.

"I told you it's the one next to mine!" Tashiro joined them and helped carry a box or two for Shirahama.

"I was just checking!"

"By the way, Shirahama-kun, what do you feel like eating? We're ordering take-out." Hanzawa asked him, and the boys stared at the different menus the older showed them.

As they eagerly went over what food to get, Miyano and Sasaki walked down the hall to check on everyone. The girls were directly across from their partners, and there was a stark contrast in their rooms already. Yokota and Fujimi were busy decorating their room in pastel colors and lights while giggling as they settled in.
