A/N: Welcome to Sports Day!! :D This is a fluffy chap with the occasional spicy thought, ya know by now. I did some research for this event, but it was hard to get a solid grasp on it so a lot of stuff is made up on how it works. Still tho, I hope you enjoy the competitive pack today ;)

ALSO, sensei's birthday art for Sasaki??? Hello?? Yes, we are eating good! What's funny is I wrote this chapter with Sasaki pulling his hair back months before the official art, so now we all have a visual for it :') (Except this Sasaki's hair is more red and longer)

Chapter 26: So You Think You Can Win

Sports Day. It had been drawing closer as summer was nearing its end, and Miyano was a little more excited this time around for it since his pack would be on a team together. It seemed the event organizers didn't want to try and separate them, so they were kept together on the white team.

"Talk about special privilege..." Miyano murmured as he gathered with his pack outside.

"I'm not complaining." Tashiro shrugged, crossing his arms behind his head.

"We're gonna win for sure!" Kagiura was pumped, and Miyano let his competitive spirit reign throughout them.

"Looks like we're up next." Hirano reminded his classmates.

"Oh, but aren't you suppose to be on cheer squad?" Hanzawa asked him, and Hirano gave a smirk.

"I'm subbing for someone, so they allowed it so long as I behave."

The kouhais, minus Kagiura, followed their senpais to watch them in ball toss. It was a game event for tall people, and mostly alphas, so Miyano, Kuresawa, and Tashiro stood in the cheer section.

"Who do you think will get the farthest?" Kuresawa asked them.

"Definitely Kagiura!"

"Oh? I'm surprised you're not cheering for Hanzawa..." Miyano noticed Tashiro's confused expression. "Since he's your boyfriend?"

The dual-toned boy blushed and looked away. "W-Well, I..."

"Aw, someone's flustered." Kuresawa teased him when he couldn't get out any more words.

Miyano laughed, and his eyes found Sasaki's from where he stood lined up in waiting. He smiled when his mate waved at him, and he waved back.

"I'm guessing you're betting on Sasaki?" Kuresawa asked him, and Miyano turned to look at the beta.

"Why is everything a betting game to you?!"

He shrugged, "It makes it interesting. I'll cheer on Ogasawara-senpai since his girlfriend isn't here."

"Why can't we just cheer for all of them?!"

They watched as their team stepped up for ball toss, and the three of them cheered loudly when it was one of their packmates. When Sasaki stepped up, Miyano blushed wildly when he stared directly at him and smirked, before chucking the ball as hard as he could.

It had the most distance so far, and being able to see a glimpse of his alpha's raw strength had shaken both Miyano and his inner omega. It was just like that one manga he borrowed from Fujimi about an idol group, and one of the members of it wanted to impress another, so he showed off by completing a lot of hard step sequences that made his crush blush. It was a great moment because it made the guy's crush start noticing him more. Anyway, Miyano was greatly impressed, and he felt a spur of pride for having such a handsome and strong mate.
