It was a fine, sunny day. For kids, it would be a nice day to play outside. I guess this lifted up my mood. Until...
I saw Carl staring at Daniel across the table like he was ready to murder him. Was it because of my rejection? I started to feel uneasy. Tomorrow, I'll have lunch --still-- with Daniel. I agreed again with his invitation. I found myself enjoying his company. I was getting to know him better. And I like that. What?
I was drawn by my thoughts to realize that our teacher has already arrived. My seatmate Darren nudged me on the elbows. I looked up and saw that there was a slide presentation again. I sighed. Note-taking. Ugh. I hate it. Note-taking on a laptop. Typing. It's tiring.
As I type, I sneek a quick glance to Carl. He was looking at my direction. When he saw me staring, he waved and gave a smile. I returned them. Maybe he was not mad at me. Maybe he was not looking to Daniel at that way because of my rejection to him earlier. Maybe it's something else.
