Roman
My traitors cock stirred me to life when every other part of me begged me to remain asleep. The sun hadn't fully set yet but the moment I caught glimpse of my princess laid out under that horn dog...
I couldn't take it.
I knew she'd had others, like she ought to, like I've had, but hearing another's name trembling off her sweet lips.
I didn't have a right to be angry and take this moment from her. That's why I'd hesitated leaving. I had my chance and had chosen life over her.
For a long second, I tried to convince myself that if I stayed I could at least watched her, pretended to be him, pretended she was doing it because she knew I was there.
Fuck that's hot.
But when she said, please...
I temporarily forgot that one blast from her in my current condition could kill me.
Esta never said please.
She didn't submit.
For fuck's sake, she was supposed to be looking for me.
The door opened on it's own.
Kaitlin
I had stared at my broken headboard unable to believe what happened.
Roman had left after my remark and Sethan had remained frozen with his back to me, still in half-form, livid that I let Roman anywhere in my room.
I didn't dare touch him.
Not after how easily he'd destroyed my bed and my now nearly non-existent closet door.
If only I'd realized the significance of my opened window much, much sooner.
I fell asleep on my broken bed, mattress tilted at an off angle.
Trying to explain to Sethan how I'd let Roman sleep in my closet the last time he'd been here, and how he decided to re-enter, this time without my permission, hadn't gone well at all.
My couch now bore a hint of Sethan's claw marks. He'd managed to stop himself.
Our relationship was going downhill faster than I'd originally thought and of course, I'd somehow managed to fail to get laid by a hot, sexy Alpha who'd been more than willing to go down on me for a second time without first getting something in return.
The Moon goddess practically handed me a unicorn and I messed it up.
I should've let Leon eat Roman and passed on the knives that night.
I rubbed my eyes, tried of beating myself up for this.
Sethan refused to sit, sleep it off and even leave.
He wouldn't face me either as he grappled with his wolf. All I got was his large, wide back and his glorious naked butt he was torturing me with.
A girl could only ogle for so long.
When I awoke with Sethan spooning me, I'd thought I'd been dreaming. I'd been convinced Roman had broken him. But the warmth was too overpowering.
I wasn't imagining him.
I reached out and turned my alarm off a few minutes before it went off.
"Where are you going?" Sethan got up after me, startling me. His breathing had been so even that I'd been convinced he'd been deep asleep.
I looked over my shoulder and saw Sethan rubbing his eye with his other arm outstretched towards me. He didn't seem angry. Rather, he seemed really happy to see me. I knew it was only a bodily reaction so I ignored it.
