Yeri’s POV

I slowly made my way towards the table where Wuhan was sitting with his mafia friends. They drank and laughed loudly.

I went closer and then slid in the chair next to Wuhan. The others were too immersed in their activities to notice me.

When Wuhan looked at me, I saw a demon flash through his eyes. He didn’t even spare a moment before capturing my waist; pulling me close and onto his lap. I wanted to punch that smirk off his face, but I held back.

I faked a smile and batted my eye lashes, making my leg stick out more from the slit. This caused Wuhan to look at my thigh and he licked his lips. I was deeply disgusted.

“Where is Jungkook?” he asked me.

“Oh, I don’t have to be with him all the time. He went to get a drink so I rushed here, to you,” I told him, adding the last part seductively and sliding my hand on his chest.

I internally gagged at my own actions but I continued fake smiling in front of Wuhan. He moved his face closer to me and breathed over my ear.

“He doesn’t deserve someone as beautiful and sexy as you,” he whispered in my ear.

I nodded in agreement and he slipped his hand over my thigh, rubbing it and I felt the most unsafe in my entire life for the very first time; under Wuhan’s touch.

I moved my hand behind Wuhan’s neck and grabbed it, making him smirk. Then I moved closer to his ear and let my breath linger over his neck and ear for a few moments.

“Why don’t you say we take this somewhere more private?” I said in a low voice.

An ugly grin flashed across his face and he nodded. He stood up and brought me with him. Not waiting for his friends’ smirks and remarks, I grabbed his hand and led the way upstairs. And the fucking bastard kept following me. The smirk was still evident on his face.

He tried grabbing my waist a few times but I denied, saying, “Oh, not here, baby. If I start here, I won’t be able to stop. We should get to a room first.”

He just smirked at that and kept following.

“Why are we going to the third floor?” he asked as I led him up the flight of stairs and towards the room where Jungkook had instructed me to bring Wuhan.

“Because,” I said, pushing Wuhan inside the room and closing the door behind us in the dark room, “I don’t want anyone disturbing us.”

And grabbing his tie, I pushed him on the bed; hovering above him. He slid his hand around my waist and grinned.

Any moment, Jungkook would come out and finish him off. I didn’t know why, but I had been exceptionally calm all night. I suddenly trusted Jungkook with my life. I knew he wouldn’t let anything happen to me because he needed me for his own plan.

“Amaze me,” he said and smirked.

But before he could make another move, a gunshot was heard and then Wuhan’s chest lay covered in blood. Jungkook came out of the shadows and put the rest of the bullets in his chest one by one as I looked.

My mind was slowly breaking under the scene. I wanted to turn away and run but I couldn’t. I couldn’t even close my eyes. I urged them to close but my system wasn’t working.

Why had I suddenly stopped responding to my own brain? Or had my brain stopped responding to me?

My mind felt numb and I felt like I had suddenly drifted away from the world. Scenes from my past came back to me and haunted me as I stood there. I heard a faint voice in the distance. It remained faint and then slowly, it started becoming clear.

It was Jungkook’s voice. He was calling my name. But not only that, he was shaking my shoulder.

That brought me out of my trance. I looked at him and his eyes looked cold as usual. He grabbed my arm and ushered me out of the room. He slid his hand around my waist harshly and I flinched, backing away from him.

“Don’t touch me.”

“Don’t forget, you’re still here as my girlfriend,” he hissed at me.

I didn’t say anything and just let him grab my waist and guide me down the flights of stairs and into the stuffy corridors and halls.

I couldn’t stay in that place any longer. It reeked of bad things. It reminded me of how he had touched me in the most unsafe way. It made me shudder.

Finally, we were out of the place. Jungkook guided me to his car and we took our seats.  Jungkook started it and drove away. There was silence for a few minutes before Jungkook broke it.

“I’m surprised you didn’t try to run away,” he mocked.

It didn’t matter to me.

All I could think of was how a slight touch could make me feel so unsafe. Wuhan’s face and his body all covered in blood kept coming into my mind. I couldn’t get the images out of my mind, but, I couldn’t get the feeling of his touch out of my mind at all.

“Mhmm,” I replied and kept looking out the window.

He didn’t say anything but turned away his attention from me and continued driving off towards the place that was now my prison.
