Jungkook's POV

I woke up to a peacefully sleeping Yeri inside my arms. I admired her beautiful face and found myself in a trance.

After leaving a few pecks on her face, I decided to get dressed and order breakfast before Yeri woke up.

Quietly, I left the bed and placed an order. After placing the order I made my way to the bathroom. I took a shower and got dressed into a pair of jeans and a shirt.

As I got out, I could see Yeri still sleeping.

Soon after, the order was delivered to our room. I smiled thinking Yeri would love to have a nice breakfast in bed. I placed our breakfast on the nightstand and gently shook Yeri's shoulder to wake her up.

"Yeri, wake up. Our breakfast is here," I said.

When she didn't budge, I leaned down and shook her a little more but she wasn't waking up. I called her name many times but to no avail.

Something was wrong.

I picked her up bridal style and raced out of the room. Hailing a cab I placed Yeri on the back seat and took my place beside her.

Reaching the nearest hospital in the area, I walked inside with Yeri in my arms. As soon as I stepped into the lobby, doctors and nurses rushed towards me.

"Help her please, she isn't waking up," I said.

Yeri was laid onto a stretcher as the doctors rushed her towards a room for check up.

"What happened to her?" a doctor asked me.

"She was fine when we went to bed last night. This morning she wasn't waking up at all."

The doctor gave a short nod to me and once we had reached the room they told me to wait outside. I didn't know what was wrong with her.

A few minutes later one of the senior doctors emerged from inside.

Upon seeing me he stepped near me.

"How is she?" I asked him.

He glanced momentarily at the door of the room where she was kept, before looking back at me.

"May I ask your name?" he said.

"Jungkook Jeon."

"And the patient's name?"

"Yeri Kim."

"What is Ms. Yeri to you?" he asked me.

"She's my girlfriend," I told him.

He studied me for a brief moment before nodding.

"Ms. Yeri is in a state of a deep sleep. Fortunately, it is not a coma. We have tried waking her up through different methods but none of them worked. As of now, the doctors must perform multiple tests to determine what the cause of her condition might be. When the test results come, we will take further action. She is under observation at the moment."

"Is there something that could have caused this?" I asked him.

"We suspect something but we cannot be sure until the results are here, Mr. Jungkook."

"When will the results come?"

"Sometime after midnight tonight. That is the fastest we can get them," he said.
