Yeri's POV

I stood in the middle of the garden and enjoyed my time with nature. Master Woo told me about the new plants that he had grown in the garden.

I liked learning about nature from the old Master. He made it so much interesting and his knowledge about everything was beyond words.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see who it was.

Taehyung stood behind me with a smile on his face. He wore formal attire and his hair fell on his forehead, almost reaching his eyes.

"Hi, Taehyung."

"Hello, Yeri. It's nice to see you again," he said and I gave him a smile.

After he had greeted the old gardener and exchanged a few words with him, he turned to me again.

"Jungkook is working in his office at the moment. You can meet him upstairs," I told him.

He shook his head.

"I'm not here for Jungkook. I came to talk to you."

I nodded hesitantly. Taehyung smiled.

"Walk with me?"

His question sounded more like a command.

I nodded once more and let Taehyung lead the way further and deeper into the garden.

A few minutes later, Taehyung came to a stop. He looked around for a few moments before turning all of his attention towards me and holding my gaze with a stern gaze of his own.

He studied me for a few moments before I spoke.

"Why did you bring me here?"

"Because I like the nature more than I do the indoors."

"What do you want?"

"Be patient, Yeri," he said.

That shut me up and I remained quiet.

Taehyung spoke after another few moments.

"I heard you and Jungkook are dating," he started and looked at me.

"Whatever you want to call it. Yeah, we went on a date once. But we aren't exactly dating."

"And Jungkook just took you out on a date, out of the blue," he said, making sure the statement was laced with a tone of doubt.

"Well, we care about each other. And what is so wrong in going out for a dinner? He didn't even consider it a date."

"Are you sure you care for him enough?"

I scoffed.

"What? Of course I do, Taehyung. I care for him more than just 'enough'."

"So you're saying that you won't break Jungkook if your 'care' turns into something more?"

I looked at him in disbelief.

"Why would I break him? Are you out of your mind today, Taehyung? Jungkook doesn't need more damage. He needs more care."

"And are you sure, you are the person to give him that care that he deserves?"

"I'm not saying that I'm the person who can give him the care that he actually requires, but I'd rather try than sit idle and dwell on the fact that I may or may not be the right person for him."

"No, of course not."

"You don't trust me do you?" I said after a moment.

Taehyung's gaze was piercing.
