Chapter eighteen: Amusement park
Felix walks up to the stand the eight men said they'd meet at. At the sight of someone standing there, too, the blond grabs the man's shoulder and faces him. When blond hair along with Rhino's face appears in his sight, Felix widens his eyes. It doesn't take long until the shorter starts laughing loudly, his hands placed on his stomach as he feels it starting to hurt and the air in his body leave. "What's with the new hair and clothes?" the younger asks quietly, still trying his best to stop himself from laughing.
The older rolls his eyes and lightly punches Felix's arm. "Shut up or I'll help you do it." the purple haired man who seems to have the appearance of a blond guy now, gives the one before him a threatening look.
"Oh, yeah?" a wave of confidence hits Felix as he even gets his face closer to Rhino's. "Do it, then." a smirk shows up on his face, the thought of Rhino getting mad at him brings him some sort of excitement. The purple haired male never got mad at him, or at least, he never showed it. The blond is now expectantly just waiting for the older to do something.
The taller boy scoffs and moves farther from Felix. "Don't try me, Felix. You still dont know me and what I can do."
"So scary!" the blond smiles an amused smile before starting to look around for the other members.
Silence falls over the both of them. It's the silence no one ever likes. That uncomfortable silence people try to avoid as much as possible. The two men just stand one beside the other as they both wait for the others to arrive, their sight moving constantly.
"Felix?" the older speaks up in a small voice, something Rhino almost never does. As he hears the boy beside him hum, he turns his head towards him. "Sorry for getting mad. I didn't mean to." a sigh leaves the taller's rosy lips before he opens his mouth again. "I'm just tired, I couldn't sleep last night." he explains as he nervously smiles, timidly showing his whitish teeth.
"No need to apologise, hyung." he gives the man a reassuring smile."Why couldn't you sleep?" Felix asks with concern present in his voice.
They went like this for a couple more minutes before the other members showed up. They talked about this and that, getting more comfortable with only being by themselves.
They all look so different from the way they usually do except for Felix. The latter couldn't help but stare at the boys he almost couldn't recognise. The blue hair Christopher had was replaced with black, the elegant clothes Peter usually wore were now replaced with street clothes and Lewis's muscular arms and chest were covered by green and black clothes. Unconsciously, Felix's sight leaves the others, meeting the tallest who seemed to be waiting for Felix's attention. The man, who usually looked intimidating, now, looked soft. The black, long hair, and the white clothes on Sam's body make him look oh-so lovely.
"Wow, Sam!" Felix says in shock, surprised by the innocent look the older managed to pull off.
"If I hear you talking about it, you're dead." he smiles a sarcastic smile, really hating the way he looks right now. He always loves looking intimidating, looking soft and cute only bringing him some sort of uneasiness and discomfort. It used to be his style. Looking cute was his way to go, but that Sam is dead. The weak, innocent boy he once used to be is no longer here. Sam killed him the moment he stepped his foot inside the Oddinary hotel.
"Why is everyone so mad today?" the youngest's voice makes its appearance, getting some of the members' attention. The boy was not so changed, yet the way half of his face was covered by a black, synthetic mask made him almost unnoticeable.
"I know, right?" Felix chuckles, bringing his head down as he scratches his nape, obviously feeling weird about the whole situation.
"Yeah..." Peter begins, trying to release the stress in the air. The silence was louder than any words they could ever utter. "What are we doing today?"
