Chapter nineteen: Back home
The sound of forks touching the plates that contain eggs and bacon fills the early morning in the hideout's kitchen. The eight members enjoy the peace of just being able to quietly enjoy their food together, no one daring to say anything as to not bring the subject of I.N leaving today. The one last mentioned keeps stuffing the food in his mouth, chewing with an almost unnoticeable smile present on his face.
As the first of them to finish eating the food, Sam, walks to the living room, the kitchen starts getting a bit loud, the seven remaining men arguing over who's in charge to wash the dishes today. The youngest just watches happily, chuckles and short laughters leaving his mouth every now and then at the scene in front of him. "I'll wash them." the latter utters after finishing his food.
"No, you won't! It's Peter's turn to do it. And on top of that, I don't want you to remember us as the bitches who made you do the dishes on your last day here." Christopher, who seems to have loosened up a bit around I.N, speaks in a stern voice.
"I agree with what I.N said. One hundred percent, I agree." a proud smile makes its way to Peter's lips, but it's soon replaced with a frown as he feels a hit on the back of his head. He moves his hand to the spot, rubbing it. "I was just joking." he mutters as a pout forms on his lips, his eyes directed to the ground whilst Changbin's sarcastic laughter sounds inside the room.
"Yeah, that's what I thought."
Peter starts doing the dishes whilst curse words leave his mouth quietly, the other members leaving the kitchen one by one. Sighs and groans fill the living room now as they hold and rub their bellies, the men throwing themselves onto the couch.
"Can you move a bit? You're taking all of my air." Sam utters with a disgusted expression on his face as his eyes fall onto the one beside him.
"Aww, don't be like that, baby." the shorter says in a loving voice, putting his head on the taller's shoulder.
Felix is watching all of it from the other end of the couch with a frown on his sleepy face, the sight of Sam giving in and patting Changbin's head making the boy somewhat jealous, his neck and cheeks turning a bright pink as a sigh leaves his ajar lips.
The two men didn't get to talk about what happened the other day in the photo booth, so Felix is still as confused as before. He doesn't know whether the taller likes him or if he's just playing with him. But either way, the blond can't stop this thing he often feels when he's around Sam. He can't even describe it, he can't tell what it is. Hatred? Like? Love? Annoyance? He took all of these into consideration, but ended up with no response, still being as confused as he was before.
With little to no time left, I.N gets up from the couch and walks up to Felix. The boy bends over a bit and whispers something in the blond's ear which catches Sam's attention, one of his eyebrows raising a bit as millions of thoughts roam his mind. The red haired man sees Felix getting up from the couch, the two leaving the room later on. A sigh leaves Sam's mouth as his eyes close softly. "So that's why you wanted him to stay a bit longer." the man mutters to himself before his eyes open almost immediately, his sight falling back on the TV before him.
As the door behind them closes, Felix turns around to face the younger while he smiles ever so slightly. "What did you want to talk about, I.Nnie?"
"First of all, my name's actually Jeongin." the brunet begins, a short laughter leaving his lips at the sight of a wide-eyed Felix.
"What? Why? How?" the blond says in disbelief, as if it's the most life changing thing he's ever heard.
"As you know, the members here use their english names, but in my universe, the korean names are used. I don't know why, I guess that's just how it is?" the boy laughs yet again and puts his hand on Felix's shoulder, pulling the latter towards the bed before them.
