Chapter nine: Left alone again

A couple of days have passed and the only member Felix has seen and talked to was Christopher. The younger refused to go back to the hideout since he was feeling the worst and didn't want to make the others worried. He was scared, too. He didn't want to meet eyes with Sam, he just didn't want to see him. He felt the guilt getting to him more and more by the passing day. The memory of him promising Sam to not tell anyone about the seven boys made him feel bad since he broke the promise right away.

Now, Christopher is waiting at the door for Felix to greet him and let him inside. Since Felix told the blue haired male he hated whenever any of the members would enter his apartment through the window, Christopher started visiting him in a more human way. The door was now the main way of getting inside Felix's apartment for Christopher. The window was left as a way of entering the blond's home whenever he wouldn't open the door during his sleeping hours or TV series times.

"Hey, what's up?" the blond utters and walks towards his room after leaving the exit door wide open for the older to enter.

It's crazy how the two have gotten so close during these past few days. It's like they've known each other their entire lives. I mean, yes, of course Christopher has been protecting the younger this whole time, but still, Felix just got to meet him a couple of days ago, almost two weeks to be more specific, and he could trust the older with almost anything. It's almost like they were best friends by now.

"Just coming here to check in on you. How's everything going?"

The blond chuckles and shakes his head, taking a seat on the edge of his bed. The older sits down beside Felix, a scowl shadowing his face since he didn't understand the younger's reaction. "You came here yesterday, too. What could've possibly happened in a couple of hours?"

"I don't know. That's why I'm asking." the man shrugs his shoulders as his sight moves to Felix's face.

"Nothing important happened, C. Just eating and sleeping so I wouldn't die. That's all, nothing special at all."

"Are you still hesitant about paying us a visit at the hotel? We're all waiting with open arms, you know?" the older changes the subject and brings back the question he asks everyday, a comforting smile plastered on his face.

"I don't know." the blond pauses before letting out a sigh. "Maybe I'll come by tonight. At least I'll try to."

"Really?" the man gasps, a grin forming almost immediately on his lips. "We'll be waiting for you, then!" he says before running towards the exit door. "See ya later!"

The blond chuckles before walking to the door and locking it back.

A couple of hours later, Felix finds himself standing inside the hotel, inside the main hall, unsure if he should take the elevator to the others or just to go back home. It's been a short period of time since he last seen the members, but for him, it felt like a weirdly long time. Since the blond told Christopher he'd be here by tonight, he pushed aside the weird feeling he had in his stomach and got inside the elevator.

When the metal doors of the elevator open, in his sight appears the taller man, dancing while listening to some bouncy music. A smile starts to show on Felix's face but dissappears when Sam turns around and faces the blond.

"Look who's back! Why'd you quit visiting us? Guilty much?" the boy utters with a smile after turning the music down.

"Shut up, Sam. Where are the others?" the annoyance gets to the blond easily, only the sight of Sam's face bringing Felix some sort of anger. He'd be lying if he said he didn't feel relieved Sam was the only member to be in the building at the moment. He just felt like he couldn't face the others after kind of betraying them.
