Chapter twenty-five: His first kill
"Everyone's ready?" the leader asks while looking at his members with a straight face. After seeing everyone nod, Christopher nods to himself before taking a deep breath in. He walks out of the building, the other members following behind. "Since we have four places he could be at, each place will be searched by two members. Lewis and Sky, you will search the police station, Rhino and Peter, the place he used to live in. Sam and I.N, you guys will go look for him in his parents' house. And Felix, you will come with me. We'll search at the train station."
At the sight of the couple giggling, Christopher raises a brow and walks towards them. "You better not forget about the mission and fuck each other. I'll never put you two together again if it happens. Understood?" he scowls at the two, now, quiet men.
"You have my word." Rhino says in a serious voice, yet the smirk on his lips is kind of giving him away.
"Peter, take care of it. I know your boyfriend tends to be more..." the older begins, regret written all over his face. "touchy, I guess." Christopher looks at the brunet while displaying a slightly disgusted expression.
A few minutes later, the group is ready to leave. Lewis teleports himself and Sky at the police station, the latter turning himself and the other invisible. Rhino and Peter leave, too, taking their car to the place they have to search. Sam and I.N fly to the house through levitation, knocking on the door and waiting for the man's parents to open it. At last, Christopher and Felix leave, too, taking the older's car to the train station.
Finally getting at the train station, Christopher and Felix walk around quietly in a somewhat awkward tension. Every once in a while, they make eye contact, looking away rather fast.
The two men finally open their mouths, yet they go silent the moment they both start talking at the same time.
"You go first." the older mutters whilst looking around for the man they're trying to find.
"Uhm..." Felix begins, clearing his throat. "I'm sorry if I made things weird." a sigh leaves the blond's lips before he looks at the one walking beside him. "Chris, do you hate me?"
The older frowns and looks at the younger. He chuckles and shakes his head before putting his arm around the other's shoulders. "Felix, why would you think I hate you? I have no reason to do so. You did nothing wrong."
"Well, I thought you did since you've been acting strange since the other day." the blond shrugs and looks around.
The older chuckles awkwardly and clears his throat. "Don't ever think like that again. I could never hate you, Lix."
Felix smiles at the blue haired male and nods before they both go back to look around. At the sight of the brunette haired male, the two widen their eyes and hide behind a wall, eyeing him down and calculating their next move. Christopher tells the other members they've found him whilst Felix tries his best not to lose the man from his sight.
Seeing the man get ready to enter a train that just arrived in the station, Felix and Christopher look at each other and nod before leaving the hiding spot and walking towards the train's entrance. The two wait to get on the train as many people start queueing at the doors.
Being inside now, Felix and Christopher walk around quietly, searching for the man with their eyes. Gazing upon the same exact hair and clothes, the two widen their eyes and look at each other. The man's back is facing them, so it'd be quite easy to tackle him since he can't see them, yet they don't know he has already seen them.
The brunet male smirks mischievously, purposely standing with his back facing the two men. He takes his luggage and puts it on the chair beside his own, getting ready to sit down. Yet before he could, the man hears steps approaching him. The brunet raises a brow and smiles to himself before turning around with open arms, his gaze falling upon the two men who wear a rather shocked expression on their faces, their eyes wide open.
