Chapter eight: "I'm sorry"

"What's up with you, Felix? You look terrified. Did something happen yesterday, after I went to sleep?" Christopher asks with his eyesight moving onto a specific someone who has red hair. The older had a frown on his face, scary enough to get Felix to widen his eyes at the view of the leader getting annoyed, yet the red haired male seemed unfazed.

"No, Chris! Nothing happened." the blond utters before he continues to eat his breakfast that was made by Christopher and Rhino. "This is so good. You have to give me the recipe." he smiles before taking another bite.

"Since a good magician does not reveal his secrets, I can't let you know about my own secrets either. I guess you'll just have to visit us more often to be able to eat this dish." the purple haired male utters with a smirk on his face and shrugs his shoulders.

"I definitely will." Felix lets out a deep sigh before placing the fork back on the plate and his hands on his stomach. "I'm so full."

Before anyone could say anything else, Sam steps into the conversation, a little bit annoyed by the blond's presence. "Felix, I think you have lots of things to do today, don't you? It's already late, shouldn't you leave?" Sam says with a fake smile on his face, the man still munching on his own food.

"Oh. Y...yeah, I guess I'll go, then." an awkward chuckle leaves his lips before getting up from the big kitchen table. The blond rolls his eyes without anyone noticing, Sam's hate for Felix clearly showing in his voice and expression. Felix didn't exactly know why the red haired male hated him already. But he let that go since he didn't care about how much Sam liked him or disliked him. On one side, the blond was scared of Sam, but Felix knew the taller wouldn't do anything to him while the others were around.

"Do you want me to teleport you home? It would take less time." Lewis speaks after not saying one word the whole morning, a slight smile appearing on his face.

"I wouldn't want you to lose time on me when you still have to finish eating."

"Don't worry, it will only take a few seconds. Just give me your address and we'll teleport there right away." Lewis gets up, too, and walks towards Felix, the smile never leaving his lips.

After telling Lewis the address, the latter told Felix to hold onto him tight. Since the older could only teleport someone if they were close physically to him, that was the only option they had. "Ready?" the older utters with his eyes fixed on Felix.

Felix nods with his eyes closed, still scared about whatever could possibly happen. Just in a snap of the fingers, the boy feels the air around him and his surroundings change. The two were already inside the younger's apartment. Felix slowly opens his eyes and silently gasps. He can't believe his eyes. "That was so fast."

"I told you it'll be fast." the older utters with a grin on his face. "I'll go now. Anything else you want before I leave?"

"Nothing, actually." the taller answers, a smile appearing on his face, too. "Bye, Lewis."

"Bye, cutie." the older winks before completely disappearing from Felix's eyesight.

After Lewis was gone, Felix was left all alone in his room with only one thing in his mind: sleep. He was still feeling tired since he went to sleep late last night and woke up extremely early this morning. After Felix got changed into some comfortable clothes, he got on top of the bed, his head on the soft pillow. Within a couple of minutes, the young man finally falls asleep.

On the other hand, Changbin got back and was now happily eating his food in silence. Since the other members were done eating, he was the only one left in the kitchen. Or at least that's what he thought. Because right when he was about to finish, someone's voice sounded inside the room.
