AMANDA
THE SLEEP SLOWLY faded from my eyes and I realized I was warm. Too warm. I never took an extra blanket to bed so it was strange. Very strange. I blinked a few times coming to. As I woke up, my head began it's merciless pounding. It felt as though someone was beating drums inside it.
I took a deep breath finally opening my eyes. A long moanful groan escaped my lips from the pressure increasing in my skull. When I was finally out of it, a few things suddenly stood out to me.
The bed I was sleeping on felt way too different to be mine. Not to mention the strange room I was in. Everything in it screamed male.
Jesus where the hell am I?
I prayed with all hope I didn't do anything stupid like sleep with a total stranger last night.
Note to self: Never drink alcohol ever again.
How could I wake up in an unfamiliar room? That never happened to me. As if that wasn't bad enough, something else was amiss. Something heavy was pressing down on my midsection. A deep frown creased my eyebrows when I looked down and saw a hand creeping from behind me.
Did I...
Is that...
Who the hell is that?
I think I'm going to throw up.
I swallowed feeling clothing materials on my body.
At least I'm still dressed.
There was an arm carelessly slung over my mid section. I screwed my eyes shut fearing what I would see if and when I turned around.
Oh crap. What did I do last night?
I braved myself, throwing the arm away and quickly spun around and was met with a pair of brown eyes staring right at me. I frowned wiping the sleep completely from my eyes and trying to ignore my cracking skull.
As I focused further, Kyle came into full focus wearing the widest grin I had ever seen. I opened my mouth and screamed so loud with all my might thrashing and kicking so hard I managed to throw him off the bed. He cursed plummeting with a heavy thud to the floor.
"Jesus Christ calm down it's only me." He cursed again raising himself from the ground. I clutched my chest calming my breathing.
"What are you doing here?!" He shrugged sitting on the edge of the bed. I groaned holding my head with both my hands and rubbing my temples. All the screaming made it even worse.
"My house and my bed." He answered calmly.
How could he be so cool and calm at a time like this?
"What do you mean? How did I get here? And what happened last night? Oh my head. It's hurts so much." He chuckled and handed me a few tablets and orange juice.
"Here. This will help. And maybe try not to scream again if you don't want your head to explode." I didn't even ask what they were I just grabbed them and tossed them down my throat then downed half the contents of the glass. He took the juice from me and handed me a tray of food consisting of eggs, bacon, pancakes and syrup.
