AMANDA

"DID YOU SAY he was six feet tall. Has tattoos and face piercings? Dark chocolate complection add in a little muscles. So all in all he's insanely and ridiculously handsome?"

"Yep." I nodded.

"Tall, dark and handsome. Fits in perfectly with how I like them.Well then, I guess I'll bite." She plopped down on the couch next to me.

"Does he have any more friends like that? Will he be bringing any of them?" My lips twitched at her eager tone.

"I don't know. I'll ask him when he texts me the details later." Lisa leaned back on the couch with that mischievous grin of hers I knew too well.

I feel sorry for you Jason already.

"You say he's Kyle's brother?" She asked. She was invested in this.

Way too invested alright.

"Yeah." I sighed throwing the remote to the side. There was nothing interesting on the television to watch.

"Well then it's confirmed. He's definitely delish. Mmh thinking about it makes me ravenous." I paused side eyeing her as she ran her tongue over her upper lip.

"So then you think Kyle is um...delish then." She rolled her eyes at me.

"I know he's yours and all..."

"He's not mine..."

"...so that automatically makes him off limits by my standards. But you seem to forget I'm not blind. That guy embodies more beauty in his finger tips alone to rival a greek god. Not that I know how greek gods actually look like but you get what I'm saying." I simply nodded.

"So you know...Jason is a womaniser. A man whore down to the tee." She gulped.

"So he's straight then. Perfect." I stared at her in complete disbelief for a few minutes before giggling. Lisa was a unique species of her own. I admired her ability to do what she wanted to the same men that would do it to her.

Play with them before they play with your feelings.

That was the logic she used. I loved how she didn't care what others thought of her. Her confidence was infectious.

If only I had that same logic then maybe I wouldn't be so miserable and still pining for a man who would never love me. Discarding those thoughts away I focused on the night ahead.

My phone buzzed with an incoming message. I frowned at the unknown number. It was a text from Jason telling us what time and where to meet. I didn't know the place so I showed it to Lisa.

"Do you know this place?" She squinted her eyes for a few seconds before grabbing the phone, pulling it towards her face. She increased the brightness of the screen since I preferred it on the lowest.

"How the hell do you see in this thing? Okay yeah I know it. I've been there a couple of times with um... forget with who. It's close by. About fifteen minutes away. He said to meet there at eight right well we better get ready then." I nodded heading to my room.
