"SIT DOWN BECAUSE I'm not done with you yet." My jaw dropped to the hard floor at the command coming from her. At the seriousness of the situation, I couldn't help thinking about one thing.

It's about to go down!

But although I found that tone insanely sexy, there was still a part of me that didn't. That would have rubbed me the wrong way in other situations but it didn't feel like the best time to be all macho man and start to act up like a caveman.

She sighed her shoulders caving in defeated like. I didn't like how small she looked now.

"This is not how I thought the night would end you know? Not at all. I had different plans." She bit her lower lip self consciously.

"Insane plans. I thought I would..." She sniffed and that triggered my alarm bells. Something was wrong. It took everything in me not to grab her across the table and pull her to my arms.

"It's why I dressed up like this. I thought I would seduce you and...."

"Oh it definitely worked trust me Amanda." I said shifting in my chair. I felt seduced alright. But the glare she sent my way made it clear she hadn't found my humour any funny.

"I was going to drive you crazy just like they do in the movies you know. Like when the woman dresses up and looks all sexy, seduce their partner then ties them up before they even notice. After that they would make them answer all of their questions blah blah blah."

In all seriousness, I couldn't help but raise a brow at the missed opportunity.

I had been about to be tied up?

But I didn't dare say that out loud in case I upset her further than she already was.

"Okay, I probably wouldn't have gone that far but I had some ideas along those line. I...." She sighed rubbing her temples.

"But I couldn't do it. Do you know why?" I knew why. I reached for her hand which she roughly pulled away. I paused.

"Because that's... that's not you Amanda. You're not that type of person. A person who exploits other people's weaknesses."

"But now I wish I were. I wanted to do that to you Kyle. I had planned on it. I don't know why but I've finally realised that you're not really mine. I am fully yours and you know that, but I have to share you."

I frowned suddenly confused.

"What are you talking about? Amanda please, just let me take you to bed. Maybe you'll feel better after you take a nap."

She gulped down on her wine before she suddenly brought her eyes to mine for the first time since all this started. A lump formed on my throat at the pain and the unshed tears behind her beautiful eyes. The last time I'd ever seen her like that was when I had left her. She was terrified of losing me and I hated myself for putting her through that. But now I had no clue of what had brought it on.

"Amanda..." I said her name for the millionth time.

"Kyle." She said my name so softly I almost didn't hear her.
