Y/n's POV

I was walking through my room right now.

I had boxes scattered everywhere and was trying to stuff everything into them.

A knock came from my door as I was looking through a photo album I had.

"Come in!"

Nat opened the door and leaned on the door frame. She looked around my room and laughed. I scowled at her and put the album in one of the boxes.

"What?" I asked grumpily.

"Nothing, I just thought you'd be a bit more organized. I don't know why," She started laughing louder and came into my room after shutting the door.

I rolled my eyes and finished cleaning off one of my shelves.

"Soooo... you're moving."

"Yeah, Nick put me on break." I said, sticking out my bottom lip.

"Aren't you on break with Captain America?!" She asked, laying down on my bed.

"I mean, yeah. He's my new neighbor."

"I've heard he's cute..." She said, looking at me upside down and grinning.

I rolled my eyes and smiled before looking away.

"You didn't say he's not!" Nat sat up and smiled at me. "Y/n! You get to move out and be neighbors with a hot super soldier?" Nat playfully whined.

"Kind of."

"What do you mean, kind of? You know I'm right." Nat smiled.

I laughed and continued to pack up.

"When are you leaving?"

"Today. A moving truck is coming in a few hours and then they'll unpack my things when we get there."

"Sad. I'm gonna miss having you as a training partner." Natasha said, grabbing books off my nightstand and putting them in a box.

"I know. I'll miss whooping your butt everyday..." I said with a smile, knowing Nat was distracted.

"Yeah..." Nat said, distracted before she realized, "Wait, NO! I totally whoop your butt!"

I laughed loudly and shook my head.

"Sureee."

Natasha shook her head and continued to put things in boxes.

We continued working in silence for quite some time.

I was going to miss her. Natasha had become one of my closest friends. We had been through a lot together and only grown closer. She had told me everything about her life. I knew every detail of her previous life as well. She knew every detail about mine. She was one of the few people who knew I was a Stark. I was going to miss our daily talks.

"Oh man, your truck is here." Nat said as she stood next to my window.

"Already?" It seemed like it wasn't supposed to be here for another hour. I looked at the clock and realized what time it was. "Oh shoot, you're right!"

I stood up and looked around at my almost empty room. I was going to miss this place. I shoved on a pair of shoes and grabbed a zip up hoodie before grabbing a box and a stray lamp. Natasha grabbed another box and opened the door.

We walked through the agent housing hall to the elevator. I balanced everything in one hand and pressed the button. The doors opened almost immediately and Natasha and I stepped into the elevator.

As the doors closed, the familiar claustrophobic feeling washed over me. You would think I would be used to it by now, but I still silently panicked every time I had to ride up or down. Usually, I just used the stairs, today I decided I didn't want to carry the boxes down all those steps.

I was thankful when the doors opened. I stepped out onto a busy first floor. Agents were everywhere on the first floor. I didn't recognize most of them but did notice one person.

Nick Fury was walking straight to us. How he knew we were the ones on the elevator baffled me.

"Is everything in your room ready to be brought down?" He asked, taking the lamp from the top of my box.

"Yeah, it should be." I replied, balancing the box in my hands.

"Good, I'll have them load it all into the truck." Nick said, motioning to some men who were standing next to the moving truck. One of the men came over and grabbed the lamp from Nick.

Nat and I walked over to the truck and set the boxes just inside the trailer. I looked around and took a deep breath. I was ready for the change.

"Here, take these." Nick said, making me jump slightly. I looked over to him and saw his outstretched hand. He held a set of keys. "Ones to your apartment, the others for your transportation."

I took the keys in my hand and pressed the unlock button. I looked around to see a black Corvette Stingray unlocking.

"No way... Yes please!" I laughed, and walked over. Natasha ran over and opened the passenger door.

"NO WAY!" Nat said, looking inside, "I want one!"

Nick laughed and walked away. "Keep Rogers out of trouble for me!" He yelled over his shoulder.

I gaped at him before looking down at the key in my hand. I looked back at the car and saw Natasha running around, opening the driver door and looking into the car. I laughed and walked over to the car.

The interior was black with red detailing. It wasn't some lame dull red either, it was a solid bright red. Natasha moved out of the way and looked at me.

"Wanna ride?" I asked, looking at her with a grin.

"Oh, I wish! I got to go back in though. I'm late for a meeting." Nat said, looking back at the car sadly.

"Next time I'll let you drive," I said, pulling her into a side hug.

"Really?"

"For sure," I smiled and let go.

"Promise me you'll be careful y/n..."

"I swear."

Nat looked at me with a sad smile before looking down at the ground. "I guess I'll see ya around," She said, looking back up and walking away.

"See you loser!" I called out. Nat just turned and rolled her eyes before flipping me off. I laughed more before looking back to my car.

I sighed and got into the driver's seat. All the windows were overly tinted making it fell very private. Tony would be so jealous. I laughed again to myself before starting the car. Everything lit up and started to hum.

I buckled my seat belt and shifted out of park. I began to dive away.

Away to a new chapter in my life.
