Andrew

The weekend has been extremely busy here at the bar which isn't unusual. Business is always great and I've made it a mix of having more families come in since I've expanded the menu, hired more staff and kept the restaurant side open until about 10pm then you have to be carded to be in the bar; 21+ only. It then stays open until 3am. On the weekends I have a DJ that comes in around 10:30pm and it's been a fun time for everyone.

Friday night was Karaoke night and I was surprised when Lauren came in with her cousins. Of course I knew Ruby, but I hadn't met Harper. My brothers always came by on the weekends and tonight was no different. Colton and Cody joined the ladies at their table. Before I knew it, they had me join them and the 6 of us sat around the circular table chatting, laughing, eating, drinking as if we had known each other for years.

"So, what is it that you do, Harper?" Cody asked.

"I'm an agent within my parents company, ME Sports. Lauren is one of my clients, actually. She's on a sabbatical right now, but we have some projects in the works when she's ready to get back to it. No rush. Aside from that, I do quite a bit of writing, love fiction. I'm a crime show junkie and I love..."

"Fashion!" Ruby and Lauren cut in.

She playfully rolled her eyes at them.

"Yes, I love fashion. Many thought that I would go into fashion designing, but I'm a tomboy. I love all things sports which is hard for guys to believe. I worked hard for my spot at my parents agency. Nothing was handed to me. My older brother Hudson and I knew early on, if we wanted it, we had to work for it. Nothing would be given, only earned. That's how our family operates."

"Are all of you looped in your family businesses?" I quizzed.

The ladies laughed.

"Ruby is the first tattoo artist in the family, but a lot of us are, yes," Lauren replied.

"Haven't let anyone ink me since I met Ruby. Quite the artist," Colton commented.

I watched as Ruby blushed.

"That doesn't mean I'm going to give you a free tattoo, Colt."

He chuckled.

"Would never let you give me one. I pay full price and tip just as much."

"Yeah, you really don't have to do that. Colt has dropped hundreds on a tattoo."

"Sweetheart, your prices are just too low," Colt stated.

"I agree with that, Ruby," Harper added.

Ruby rolled her eyes.

"I don't want to overcharge people."

"Yeah, but don't lowball yourself either. That's all."

"I can take a look at your pricing chart while I'm here. We can make a few adjustments. Trust me, with your work and following people will pay regardless. I'll be in town for a while doing some work and hopefully getting Lauren to sign some contracts so, let's set something up."

Ruby nodded. I saw Cody's eyes light up when Harper said she'd be in town for a while. Oh boy. We've all been struck by the damn love bug. This is some shit. I know we said let's settle down, but I didn't know that we'd cross paths with three women from the same family.

"Alright. Appreciate it," Ruby commented, breaking me out of my thoughts.

Harper smiled.

"Always got you girl."

Lauren shook her head.

"I'm not ready to go back to work, Harper."

"I know you're not, but we can look at some options and of course, spend time together."
