So Over You

Lauren

I woke up the next morning with Andrew's arms. I tried to move, but he pulled me closer, kissing my neck.

"Morning."

"Hey. We need to get up."

"I'd rather stay in bed with you all day."

He flipped me over and I was now on top of him.

"Babe..."

"I literally just got you back and now I'm the one leaving."

"Just a week. It'll fly by."

"Mmm. What do you have planned for the week?"

"Missing you."

He chuckled and lifted me up off the bed as he got up.

"Andrew..."

He went to the bathroom and set me down on my feet.

"I'll give you your space to get ready. I'll be in the guest bathroom."

"You know, you can stay."

"If I do, things may happen. Things you're not ready for just yet, darling."

He dropped a kiss on my forehead before leaving the room. As I was getting dressed, Andrew came back into the room with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"I can make breakfast unless you want to grab something else.

"I'm not sure what I have in the fridge. If it's nothing you want, we can grab food."

"Alright. You all packed?"

"Mmm hmm."

I nodded and went into the kitchen. He had just enough to make omelets, bacon, and bagels. I was finishing up when Andrew came in. He wrapped his arms around my waist and reached over me, stealing a piece of bacon.

"Thanks for breakfast, baby," he said with his mouthful.

"No problem."

We spent the rest of our morning together before he dropped me off at home.

"I'll call you when I land. I'm going to drop my car back off at home then head to the airport."

I pouted.

"Okay. I could drive you, you know."

He kissed my forehead.

"We got a driver. It's cool."

"Well, I'm picking you up. Don't think about telling me no either."

He chuckled.

"Yes ma'am."

He stared at me briefly before leaning over and kissing me, his hand cradling my face. Once we broke apart, I reached for the door handle, but he stopped me.

"Stop reaching for doors in my presence, darling."

He stepped out, opening the passenger door for me and grabbing my bag. He walked me to the front door and kissed me again.

"See you in a week and I'm taking you out as soon as I get back."

"Can't wait," I said, giving him a wink.

A final kiss and he was off. He waited until I was inside before pulling off. I heard voices coming from the living room. Going in that direction, I saw my dad and Uncle Teo.

"Two of my favorite guys," I said with a smile.

They both stood up and motioned for me to give them hugs.
