Andrew

I headed over to Colt's house after watching Lauren leave with her mother and sisters. She just had to fight me on taking my credit card. We had a house to furnish and I wasn't going to not pay for it. I know she has her money, I respect that. Still, she's my woman and I take care of what's mine. Plus, I know her family is going to chip in and buy some of the stuff. I can't control that. They've made it clear to me that Lauren would always be taken care of whether she was with me or not.

I stopped and grabbed lunch for my brothers on my way over. Once I pulled into the driveway, I heard drilling coming from the garage. Heading in that direction, there were Cody and Colt. I stared in awe. Once they noticed my presence, they stopped what they were doing.

"Baby bro, surprised to see you up and moving around. Thought you and Lauren would be dead to the world today. Surprised when we got the messages about the furniture you want. I suppose she liked her gift," Cody commented.

I nodded.

"Loved it. She's shopping as we speak."

Colt laughed.

"Wasting no time. I see you brought food. Good. I'm hungry."

He took the bag out of my hand and headed towards the house and into the kitchen.

"You look tired,"I said to Cody as we followed behind him.

"Harper and I were up late last night."

I smirked.

"At least one of us got some."

"Nothing with you and Lauren?"

I shook my head.

"We were planning and talking. It's cool. I have a whole week ahead."

"She is on birth control right?"

I nodded.

"We're good on that. No need to derail her in-ring return with a baby. We've talked about it. We both want a family, just not right now. You and Harper?"

"We could be more careful, but we're just going with the flow."

I stopped in my tracks.

"Going with the flow? You know what comes with that, Cody."

"Yes, we know. We're both consenting adults in this relationship and financially stable enough to handle a baby if it does come along. We're good, Drew."

We entered the kitchen and Colt had the food laid out already. I guess he really was hungry.

"Bout time you two got your asses in here. I thought I was going to have to eat without you."

We said grace and started to eat.

"Lauren wanted to know how long it would take you guys to do the bed frame, nightstands, and bench."

Cody shrugged.

"Should be done by the time you guys get back and have it moved in."

"It's no rush, really."

Colt waved me off.

"No one said it was a rush. We have time to get it done, so that's what we'll be working on. If you need anything else, let us know. As for what to tell Lauren, tell her give us a few weeks. It'll be a surprise for her to see the room complete when you guys get back."

"Fuck," I muttered.

"What's wrong?" Cody asked.

"The custom closets. I had a friend who was going to do it for me, but they can't get out here for a month."
