Lauren
My day off with Andrew was absolutely amazing. I woke up early as usual and he joined me for yoga. We then made breakfast together. Well, he cooked and I watched. He was adamant about me not lifting a finger.
As we did the night before we spent the day talking, venting, pouring our hearts out to each other. We've had plenty of deep conversations and I didn't think we'd supersede that, but we did. After lunch we took a nap and then headed back to his place to get ready for dinner. Speaking of, we had dinner that night with Cody, Harper, Ruby, Colton, my baby boy Zayn plus Blake and Hunter were in town. Zayn was so happy he got to tag along. I know Ruby was doing her best to never make him feel left out, even with her in a new relationship. Seeing Colt interact with my Godson and Ruby, I couldn't be happier for her.
We sat outside of my parents home, momentarily. I hated to have to leave Andrew, but I needed sleep for my big day tomorrow.
"Thank you for such an amazing day, babe."
"You're welcome darling. I hope you get some rest tonight."
"Oh, I'm ready to crash. I'll hang out with my parents for a bit and be out like a light. Big day tomorrow."
"What time do you have to be up?"
"5am and to Buddy's by 7. He wants to warm up before my aunt and uncle arrive at 9."
"You're going to do just fine."
"I'm sure I will. Just anxious and ready to get the ball rolling. I've been working my ass off and I'm better now than I was 9 months ago. I'm ready."
"That's the confidence I love to hear, baby. You got this."
He got out of the car, coming around and opening the passenger door. He helped me out and grabbed my bag for me.
"Any fun plans tomorrow?" I asked him.
"Hitting the warehouse then paper work at the bar."
"You know, I realized you don't like doing paperwork."
"You're right, I don't. While I could outsource, I need to see every aspect of my businesses. I have my accountant and auditor for financial reasons, but as much as I hate all the documents, it falls on me."
I nodded. He walked me to the door, gave me one of his breathtaking kisses and told me goodnight. Once inside, he had made it back to his truck and pulled off. I saw the light on in the living room. There sat my parents.
"Hey, mom. Hey, dad."
Dad smiled.
"Hey, Princess."
He moved over so I could
"How was your day off, bug?" mom asked.
"Amazing."
I leaned on my dad's shoulder.
"Gonna miss me when I leave?"
"Of course. We'll always be here.
"So will Andrew," mom said in a sing-song voice.
I covered my face. Dad laughed.
"My bug is in love."
"I am. We finally said we love each other."
"Told you. Glad you two admitted it out loud to each other and not just other people," Dad said.
"You and mom have been right the entire time. Yes, kudos to you guys. Welp, time for me to get some sleep."
"Night, princess."
