In Book 1 we learned the story of Andrew Anderson and Lauren Law. Book 2 was another whirlwind surrounding Cody Anderson and Harper Smith. Book 3 will center around the oldest of the Anderson brothers, Colton, and Ruby Strickland.
Ruby Strickland is a 26 year old single mom to 10-year-old Zayn. For the past decade she's lived in Houston, Texas with her Uncle Pat and his wife, Olivia Law. Being apart of the Law family, even by marriage, comes with an army of support which is what Ruby needed as a teenage mom. Her grandparents were semi-supportive about her pregnancy. Her mother? Not so much. That's a tumultuous relationship that needs a lot of mending.
Five years ago she met the charming, alpha male, Colton Anderson, the oldest of the Anderson brothers. She was then 21 and he had 12 years on her being 33. They crossed paths as he had volunteered to be the tee-ball coach that Zayn had joined. They became cordial, even somewhat friends over the course of 3 years. Everything changed two years ago once her cousins, Lauren Law and Harper Smith fell for Colt's younger brothers, Andrew and Cody. That led to Ruby succumbing to her own feelings for Colton.
Colton is stern, and plays no games about his family; Ruby and Zayn being the center of that. They enter of new chapter of engagement, adoption, and bringing up the past. Get ready for the bumpy ride.
