Lauren

2 months later - April

Tonight is the night. I am making my return to the ring on the grandest stage of them all. My cousins have been feuding with the group, Awakening. The trio was made up of Austin, Gabe, and one of the best female wrestlers I've been in the ring with, Sasha. They've outnumbered the roster with Sasha as their secret weapon. She could hang with the guys and the girls. I was excited to get back in the ring with her.

Leading up to WrestleMania, I was in Florida. Even though no one knew of my return, my aunt and uncle wanted me training at the Performance Center. I would be there training after everyone left with Charlie. She and I had become friends with her coming to train with me in Texas and Florida. We've hung out together and she's cool people.

The biggest adjustment has been being away from Drew. We spent the majority of our time together the past 6 months and this was just the beginning of our time apart. Even with me in Florida full-time for the past month, Drew has flown in every weekend and helped me set the condo up to our liking. It wasn't as fancy as our house in Texas, but it felt like home and not just bare walls.

The morning of Mania, I woke up in my bed alone. I knew that night, I'd have the warmth of Drew next to me and I was looking forward to it. As creepy as social media can be, no one knew I was here in Los Angeles, California and we've been successful in keeping my return under wraps.

I was instructed to stay in this hotel room until my security, Al, came to get me when it was time to leave for the stadium. I had an all black sweatsuit and a mask to be as concealed as possible. Plus, I would be arriving before everyone else and staying in a locker room all day until it was time for me to go out. The anticipation was building and I'd be waiting backstage all day, but it's whatever.

There was soon a knock on my door and I grabbed my stuff knowing it was time to head to the stadium.

"Hey Al," I whispered, greeting my security guard.

He gave me a warm smile.

"Hey, you ready?" he whispered back.

I chuckled and nodded. He took my bag and we headed to my private car and to the arena. To not only be debuting on the main roster, WrestleMania this year was in California, the state that had been a home to my family for a decade. So-Fi stadium, my father and uncles had played here, all had their jerseys retired.

I quickly walked through the halls of the stadium, Al right next to me. No Superstars were here. Really just people setting up and I was disguised so I wouldn't be recognized anyway. The locker room door opened and I was surprised to see Andrew sitting there.

"I'll give you two some privacy. Good to see you Drew."

"You too, Al. Thanks for getting her here safe."

Al gave him a smile and a nod before closing the door. I dropped my bag as Andrew stood up. He opened his arms and I ran and jumped on him.

"You're here," I said.

I remained in his arms, my legs wrapped around his waist for what felt like forever. He didn't complain once. He finally set me down on my feet, kissing me. When we finally broke apart, he gave me a smile.

"Hi, darling."

"Hey, handsome. What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you. Are you not debuting tonight?"

"Yeah, but how'd you get back here?"

"Your aunt and uncle thought it'd be a good idea if I kept you company. You won't be leaving this room for at least the next 8 hours."
